Bioshock's Rapture is one of the most beautiful, atmospheric and memorable locations in video games. Explore the scenery in places like the medical pavilion and arcadia in this beautifully crafted game world.
Bioshock is made by 2K Boston (later known as Irrational games) and released on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and 4. It follows a man named jack, whose plane crashes into the ocean and ends up in the underwater city of Rapture, a city intended to be a utopia. But after the discovery of a material named ADAM falls apart.

This can definitely be considered a horror game. Definitely adventure, story, and FPS focused as well. But horror is a strong theme. Don't know what made you think its not a horror game

I've watched this video several times already, I would challenge anyone to try and tell me that the first Bioshock game wasn't atmospheric, unique and just plain beautiful. I adore this game, have played it many times and never gotten tired of it, collected a mountain of merch and I'm still looking for more. This was beautifully put together, it made me so happy to watch.

I loved Rapture.. the sad story of its rise and fall.. it always makes me sad to play it. The city was so beautiful. From its intentions to architecture.

I absolutely love the beauty and music of this game! I have all three of these games and have played them several times. This is one series I will always have in my library. I am currently trying to figure out how to convert my garage into a Bioshock themed shop.

Underwater, no. Haahaa, although there is a small window, hmmm!?!Probably one of the interior rooms. Might take awhile but will be worth it to see and hear the final creation.

I kid you not, sometimes I just like to read up on Bioshock lore and look at its environments while sipping on a nice scotch whiskey. Something about the atmosphere of Bioshock nowadays is both very nostalgic and soothing.

Are you the one who is talking? I like the dramatic music in combination with that a Bit ''disorted'' voice. I can somehow feel the atmosphere eventhough I never played Bioshock^^ U did well in my opinion :D

There's so much that is so freaking cool in Bioshock's art direction. Love the Bioshock series for its atmosphere, wonder what they will do with the fourth game in the series. I rarely am in awe of a gameworld - the first games that hit that mark of magical alternate reality that felt real, for me were Myst/Riven back in the '90s, and it gets, continues to get, harder and harder to wow me as the tech improves, harder to be totally immersed in a game setting but the Bioshock series is a series that definitely does creative worldbuilding and mood wonderfully well. BTW for anyone curious, I am doing some of my own odd indie game dev things, like www.panoramicworlds.com, www.miniaturemultiverse.com and so on...
