Canadian artist Tamara Rubilar went to Europe to study traditional Jacobean crewel work and goldwork embroidery and brought her knowledge back to Canada. From fabric to patterns, she values detail to bring her embroidery designs to life.

Me too Denise, I have always loved embroidery, actually any craft done with a needle and thread. Over the last year I’ve been indulging in Goldwork. I have watched KZfaq videos, Sarah Homfrey videos are very informative. I also bought a couple of books on different techniques. I find Goldwork so enjoyable, the materials are of course so beautiful to work with, it really is super enjoyable to do.

I love how I use just a few stitches my fourth grade teacher showed me/was never taught and invented my own technique using wood cardstock embroidery and appliqué /its museum quality using all natural materials vintage antique threads for beautiful creational works/I love my really creational genetics I got through my papa/talent from genetics needs no schooling knowledge and little practice to produce really good meaningful art/my arts creational art!lol
