Jai K. Yadav it always bother me how much the franchise focus more on him but after DOFP and Logan I pity him. he experience loosing members of his X-men family in two timelines

@@frankyace4371 I like the MCU but after watching movies like JOKER, Logan, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Netflix's Daredevil and Punisher I don't think the MCU even comes close. It's just mindless entertainment with a shit ton of VFX and a easy to understand story. DC films inspite of their heavy VFX use atleast have a more serious tone to them or atleast they feel different from each other.

Logan really was a CINEMA that told a comic story, very much like DC when they actually hit on their films within storytelling & depth. Logan truly in a league of its own.

I personally am more fond of Batman Returns and V for Vendetta. Batman Returns in particular is amongst the best burton films: it's 100% his style, his mix of weirdness and dark humour, got some interesting themes (duality, upperclass vs underclass to name some), compelling and touching characters, incredible directing and atmosphere and just this fascinating world that almost reminds me of the french comic book "adèle blanc sec". It's not straight up serious, instead it goes more into the grotesque and, as far as I am concerned, it makes it much more unique.

What I like about the X-Men movies is their sense of individuality, and their ability to think outside the box Most MCU movies look the same, and they almost never take risks

Logan was my favourite super hero when I was a kid, I used to watch the X-Men cartoons just to enjoy the scenes were he appeared, and I loved Hugh Jackman as Wolverine on the films. I was eighteen when I watched "Logan" at the movie theater for the first time and, no lie, it was one of the hardest movies for me to see. I cried so much that day, alone in my room, because my heroe was dead, my inmortal heroe from childhood was finally gone, and my first age of youth with him. Nowadays I haven´t seen so many movies that could make me feel the same things this movie did, back then, in the theater. Goodbye, Logan, goodbye.
