In one of my runs there was this person 'Panth East' who kept on killing people until the village killed her. It then became a custom in that village to 'Curse Panth East' as soon as you got old enough. I spawned in the same village a little while after I died, and guess what? People were still saying 'Curse Panth East' when they got old enough.

I wish there was a way to practice-play so you can learn the basics by actually doing things. That way you can not worry about being a pain for other players. Reading about it is fine, but the best way to learn is doing it.

I would like to see you play like that. But focus on a single task. Like making a mega berry farm. Or being a master smither. Maybe a clothes maker. Just spend your entire life dedicated to doing as much as possible on a single goal

Drinking water should make you become colder. So if you're in the desert with lots of clothes you can drink water to cool down.

There needs to be a learning mode. Not a tutorial. But a way to play without starvation looming or babies every few minutes so you can get used to making stuff and finding stuff. It takes so long to learn and even get used to controlling actions because for the first 15-20 minutes you’re often. Edge of starvation all the time. And then I’m so paranoid about starving that it’s hard to focus on anything wise

Can you teach people to stay away when people are forging. Tell them to watch if they want to learn. Its frustrating when you have a plan and people grab a bowl. Or move flat rock. Every step is so important to creating the first steel tools.

You can save time by switching items instead of putting the item in the nearest empty space. For examples: Switch the fire bow drill with the leaf. Switch wooden tongs with the smithing hammer.

The last life I played my son Marko taught me how to smith! I felt so silly learning how charcoal is made xD shout out to you Marky!

It was a nice video, very good job, I think u need to make a beginner guide for farming, smithing, hunting, tailer, clay ing, road building, walls and houses and animal farming, Each in different video, And for example in farming do how to start from zero, how to get seeds, different kind of plants to farm, and what u can get from different farm and were u can use it, And u should not do it in one life time just a bit here and a bit there, I think thats a lot but i believe u already covered everything in the in pervious videos just need to cut some, Last u r an excellent player easy to learn from and awesome to follow👍🏼

I often forget to take a basket with me cuz I have a bag. But it's usually filled with food so I have no storage. Also, I feel bad for wearing clothes n stuff made by others if I go explore cuz I don't wanna just waste their work by dying in the middle of nowhere with the equipment lol I see that I better stay at the town as a newbie but I'm just too curious about the wilderness and don't wanna rely entirely on other players, cuz what if there's an apocalypse for example? There's no town then, no farm, you need to run around to get everything. Or I can get lost too (I often try to go in a straight line if I leave the town to prevent that though). Finding a good place for a village seems to be really important. It needs berry bushes, probably other food source, water, wood, soil, stone, milkweed, etc. nearby...

I keep respawning in the same town I began in 😣 Problem is I'm new and need experience.. this place is too built up for me to learn anything. I want to start from scratch.. like primitive, to get the hang of things and have some challenges to survive. I really don't know how to stop spawning in this same server. I have tried dying and starting over 3 times before giving up. This game is very unforgiving to new people. Kinda wish you can play solo for awhile before joining a village. I know the tutorial had a solo run but you can't stay there forever. They should put you on servers with people of the same experience level that way you don't feel like a burden to everyone else. I really hope they can make some changes this game has huge potential.

This tutorial video is pretty outdated so here are the things that have changed: 1:17 1:54 2:51 - Standing in "temperature tiles" based on the biomes like these doesn't work anymore (just stand in a fire). 2:19 - 3 years old* 3:00 - This isn't correct (anymore). Wearing clothing always tries to get your temperature to optimal, so it's good to wear clothing in hot and cot environments. 5:18 - This does not work anymore, your temperature always updates no matter if you're standing still or not. 7:15 - This has been fixed. Berries and berries in a bowl are considered the same in terms of yum. 7:57 9:34 - Twisted says things like "current chain", "keeping his chain", and "resetting his chain" but these terms wouldn't be used now because you no longer lose the yum bonus chain when you eat a meh food. 9:15 - "Omelettes gives 17 food." This is only true if you are within the first few generations in a family tree, and it gradually goes down the higher your generation number is. 9:22 - Berry bushes no longer regenerate automatically (even if you leave a berry). 12:30 - Canada goose ponds don't regenerate their goose egg anymore. 15:36 - idk what specific things he's talking about, all types of fires act the same except for heat output and lifespan. 18:42 - You can stack wrought iron now. 20:45 - If you want to find your leader, do /leader 26:41 - You CAN use that recipe thing but you should definetely use the tech tree on the ohol website instead. 33:50 - You make wells from a natural spring rather than ponds now. 38:44 - You can't explore the desert biome unless you are the black race or there are less people online. 39:22 - Iron ore no longer spawns like this. 40:50 - Milkweed seeds decay after 5 minutes, so it most likely wouldn't be helpful. 42:47 - Carrots can be stacked now. 46:20 - Regular corn and shucked corn can be stacked (stacks can also dry up). 47:42 - Hunting rabbits require bait now. This tutorial honestly doesn't explain much about the game generally speaking since it's based around an eve town, and eve towns are really rare, but this tutorial does tell you how to do some important things in an eve town (the difference between this eve town and present day eve towns is that around this stage, present-day eve towns would've settled around a spring with iron veins east and west, would be farming carrots, maybe farming wheat, and baking pies.) If you want to learn how to get good at this game I recommend just asking people things you want to know and looking in the ohol tech tree website.
