Some notes for myself: Achievements panel filter on Masteries is quite helpful. Masteries unlock at first character hitting level 80 and getting their first Central Tyria point. You may be tempted to try the new expansion with an alternate character so you also earn XP + hero points, but note this prevents earning Mastery experience - the XP goes to your character when below level 80.

Masteries are the backbone of not just your character, but your entire account.

do i get mastery points in tyria living world? bc i need mastery points but i cant get any bc achi for mastery points in tyria is comparable to getting beetle its so hard

You do! Places like the actual living world maps will have them as well as the Dragon Response Missions. But as mentioned, they'll only count for the expansion or Core content they're connected to. So double check to see which gameplay section of Masteries they fall under, as each only counts for a certain section. So you wouldn't be able to use Core, expansion, or Living World seasons Mastery points say for Beetle unless they're specifically from Living World Season 4 and Path of Fire.

how to fly w/o the mount master, its like you have feather?

In order to be in the air, you need either Gliding or one of the 2 flying mounts

@@noelperalta8422 you can start it by getting into any of the Heart of Thorns maps and begin earning experience in that expansion and earning Mastery points to put into gliding basics. Technically, you're supposed to complete the story portion "Torn from the Sky" and start in Verdant Brink, but as long as you own the expansion, if you can get in there another way, that works too.
