*Recorded/Streamed around 1-16-23 and onward, sorry for the fps weirdness at times, this game did not enjoy my PC and streaming at the same time.*
Welcome to Gotham Knights, sort of a mixed thought about game, with some good ideas but sadly a lot of rough and not so well executed ideas. Though the combat doesn't feel nearly at satisfying as the Arkham games, it still does an alright job beating up the bad guys and I am easily amused when getting to beat up bad guys as a hero of some kind.
The movement though is very clunky, slow and getting around is very boring after awhile, with some of the characters glide/movement skill being better than others. The story is interesting enough to keep me going and the idea of co-op does sound fun, it unfortunately I would prefer co-op in a game where moving around, catching up to one another was a bit faster and less clunky so I end up doing this solo after some little co-op attempts.
It is fun to pick and play whichever character you want, as their levels scale with whoever you play, not leaving anyone in the dust, and at times giving them an alright set of gear to get started if you were not playing as them, but it feels like at least two of them are worth playing, while one is alright for co-op, one just falls short of being worth using, like Robin for example is stealth but some missions are just action based and stealth at times is a little clunky, though his take down big guy ability and some further stuff isn't so bad, you have Batgirl that doesn't even get seen by cameras and such and can always save the big guys for last. So some don't feel nearly as fleshed out as it could of been.
Overall I had fun but wished for more, but enjoy the adventures of me struggling with my PC to keep playing the game at times and having fun beating up the bad guys.
