Linen clothing is a must have if you are planning a summer wardrobe, tropical vacation outfit, or just happen to live in a part of the world where it's always ridiculously hot and humid. Linen clothing, not only looks good, but also has several benefits that makes it the ideal fabric to wear during warm weather.

I love linen, especially in the summer. The synthetic fiber feels like we are wearing plastic. Synthetics are hot in summer and cold in winter and are not biodegradable.

Linen clothes feel very thin and refreshing. Breathabiloty is great like you said, but I feel like my shirt gets wrinkled very easily, at least the one I own from Muji lol . Feels great on bedding too 👍 thanks for dropping that knowledge on this fabric !

Good piece of advice, if a linen shirt is scratchy soak it in a bicarbonate of soda solution for 24 hours.

I have linen shirt, it's soft but itchy. I soak it on salt for 8 hour, it's doesn't work.

@@sekar9901 it’s probably cheap linen. Cheap linen is a horrible material and takes a while to soften up. Irish linen is my favourite , it doesn’t take too long to soften up

I had trouble with uniqlos basic linen button ups. They shrunk and looked more like dish rags. Their no collar linen however is holding up nicely. Ill have to check out your other recommendations.

Since they dry do fast, steaming it or just just using spray bottle with warm water can get rid of the wrinkles easily. It's can be annoying though lol.

Wrinkles are normal with linen. It adds character to the cloth.

If you get a linen suit with polyester or other lining, you'll be counteracting the linen's benefits, so look for unlined suits.

Most places only do linen seasonally so it may not always be in stock. H&M, Zara, Mango, JCrew, just to name a few that sell.

Linen is great for overweight people that feel hot on a warm day or people that live in very hot countries. If you're slim and have sensitive skin, forget scratchy linen. Does it soften after many washes? I think this is a myth personally. Are you going to look creased wherever you go? Yep
