Especially cause both of Burrows injuries have been inflicted by other players If i'm Not mistaking His acl injury happened cause his oline man fell into/on his leg and the hand injury happened cause he defensive player hit his hand really hard.

Burrow has been throwing the ball for 2 weeks. He is on track to have a completly normal offseason. It will be his first since arriving in the NFL too by the way. 1st year had no pre season had a shortened training camp because of COVID. 2021 he was rehabbing his knee the entire offseason and couldn’t be a full participant in training camp. 2022 he had appendicitis a couple of days before training camp so he missed training camp again. 2023 the second day of training camp he tweaked his calf. I have seen grown men cry because of a calf injury. It hurts that god dam much. So in 2023 Burrow got 1 day of totally healthy spring training. So you see Burrow hasn’t had the luxury of training camp since he got here. He has one this year though so yall better watch out.

Ravens also lost safety Geno Stone to the Bengals. He led the AFC in interceptions last year. He is a ball hawk. At first I was pissed that we got him because I thought my boy Dax Hill was being benched. Not the case though. Wr are just transitioning Dax over to nickel CB where he played in college and d where he is elite. And the only reason we brought Von Bell back was for 2 reasons. 1. He is a veteran player who knows the system well and can help bring some of these younger players up to speed. Because our entire secondary except for Mike Hilton was a rookie last year. 2rookie outside CBs 2 rookie safety’s. I mean what could go wrong right?

I think I have more questions about the defense. At Safety they have Bell back and got Geno Stone so hopefully they'll be back to their 2021 form. They lost DJ Reader and Chido (admittedly declining) but got Sheldon Rankins, have developing corners, and might still draft someone as well.

Yes but....tee Higgins is about to be the only franchise tagged player left in NFL to not sign extension. This will put quite a bitter taste in his mouth. He hasn't had any extension talks since March 2023. Him being only one in NFL left to sign extension makes it substantially more likely that he sits out. It is no guarantee he plays. We'll draft his replacement just like we did Jesse Bates. If he does play then the WR we select will be Boyds replacement. I think we pick Brian Thomas Jr. We needed oline worse last year when we skipped a ton of em

The Bengals are positioned to make some big moves in the draft. They should trade Higgins to the jags for the 1st round pick 18th overall. The Bengals will have back to back picks 18th and 19th. They can get the best available tackle and wr with those picks.

Even with Burrow and Chase in their primes, they have some key concerns. Mainly on defense. If they can't stop the run, especially in this division against Derrick Henry, Keaton Mitchell, Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, Najee Harris, and Jaylen Warren it's going to be a long season for them regardless of what the offense does. That and they have to overcome the losses of Mixon, Boyd, and possibly Higgins. This is the chance for Burrow to prove that he isn't a system QB who is carried by his WRs. I know it sounds crazy to say considering that Jake Browning put up solid numbers while Burrow was out is the reason why that jury is out there, although it could quickly vanish. The key for Cincy is simple. If they don't struggle against their own division, they could make it back to the playoffs, if not. DOOMSDAY!

The Bengals got ran on because they couldn't sustain drives (a ton of injuries) and got crushed in field position due to the above point and the incredibly inconsistent punter. The defense got hamstring due to never having a lead.

Even if Burrow was playing it may not have mattered because their O-Line got mauled by TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith in both games. To me, if both the Offensive and Defensive Lines struggle against their division AGAIN, Cincy will be in for a long season even if Burrow returns to form.

@@realngga0 I was at the game in Baltimore. There was no way that Cincy was winning that game, and it had nothing to do with Burrow being injured or not. Their defense got eaten alive by Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' offensive attack. (Yes it was 10-7 when he got hurt, the Ravens scored on their next possession despite them having a touchdown called back) The only way Cincy would have won that game is if they scored 35 points, which in that atmosphere against that defense, yeah not happening. The Steelers you're probably right about.

The Bengals are the only “Real” threat against the Chiefs. If Burrow’s healthy, we’ll win a Super Bowl this coming season. The Ravens take a step back. Pittsburgh will split, and still miss playoffs. Browns will split, and still make playoffs.

@@Zxvix that's a rarity, especially in this decade of the NFL. that's the only time that has happened since 2016. mahomes threw for like 5,000+ passing yards and 50+ passing touchdowns in 2018. it's takes a player to do something that historic for that to happen. a quarterback having a typical MVP year isn't going to win them both mvp AND opoy.

Wasn’t a big loss, we traded him. He didn’t fit our scheme anymore. The way we’ve ran our offense these past 2 seasons, Mixon just wasn’t a fit anymore.

Zach Moss ain't it. Hes a down grade from Mixon who was just O.K. So Joe will be doing alot of throwing. Pfoblem is Burrow and Chase and Higgins are ALL injury prone and miss games every year. Just understand what your getting into when you Draft these players. The More you know the Better. Good Luxk.

Burrow will probably have to throw a lot, but it will be to two star receivers, two 3rd down backs with good speed, or possibly 2 receiving TEs (Giesecki and Bowers is he falls to them). It will be a high volume, short pass game that opens Higgins and Chase down field. Dont be surprised if they come out in heavy/2 TE sets every drive and just give Burrow dump offs to feed his recovery with his incredible accuracy, while simultaneously opening deep passes down field. The Bengals concerns right now dont seem to be on offense with the exception of getting a LT for the future and upgrading at guard.

I've been very critical towards Burrow especially since I'm a fan of a division rival, the Bengals undoing this year will be how they play in the trenches plus their record against the AFC North. If they get bullied by Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland like did last year, there will be no playoffs for them, even if Burrow sheds the system QB narrative now that Higgins, Boyd, and Mixon are gone.
