For me, it's the part of the verse before 0:03 "What you want? You a house or car? 40 acres and a mule? A piano a guitar? Anything, see my name is Uncle Sam, I'm your dog. Motherfucker you can live at the mall! I know your kind (That's why I'm kind) No receipts man? (Aw man that's fine) Pay me later, wear those gators. Cliche? Then say fuck your haters!" This part essentially shows America (Uncle Sam) convincing Kendrick (Black people) to trust him and spend money irresponsibly(Waer those gators) and fall into debt ( Pay me later). The verse goes even harder into this theme later on, but this specific part will be my favorite on this verse because of the low instrumental in the back. Can sing this whole section of it.

That's probably my favourite verse ever. "I can see the baller in you I can see the dollar in you Little white lies, but it's no white collar in you But it's whatever, though, because I'm still following you Because you make me live forever, baby, count it all together, baby Then hit the register and make me feel better, baby"

i'd personally change mortal man to either the first 15 seconds or the last 15 seconds. Kendrick saying "Pac?" at the end with the crazy instrumentals always get me emotional

When I saw the day where Twitter was convinced this album was bad I was sad , not just as a Kendrick fan , but as a hip hop fan it seems as if albums as we know it is gonna be changed forever in what people consider good. It seems people now prefer a playlist of random songs with no theme as long as the beat sounds good. No story No purpose needed

the best part of wesleys theory is "Leavin' metaphors metaphysically in a state of euphoria Look both ways before you cross my mind"

I really like that part but I think the verse that comes just before it is really incredible. Tyler referenced that bridge "Wonder if you look both ways when you cross my mind" on See You Again which is such a good song
