I think for me it’s Jaws and ID4 as the definitive July 4th movies. Great list overall!

I never watch any certain movies on July 4th but from this list my favorites are Forrest Gump, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Return Of The Living Dead!

Great list, Frank. I actually just realized that Midway was directed by the same guy as ID4 and Moonfall last night when looking it up as a potential movie to really push my atmos setup.

ID4 has a good DTS X track, and you'll really like the Dolby Atmos in Midway.

@@Franksmediaandreviews I never realized it was a 4th of July film until I watched it again a few years ago. There was a new-ish transfer done in 2019 which is hard to get apparently. I really wish it wasn't a Disney movie...it might get a new look if were a different studio

Hey Frank not american so don't relate to 4th July as much as you guys but really get a kick out of battleship just a good fun movie and a great 4k transfer sometimes a movie just has to be good fun to watch
