You were totally right, chips and dip! Jack was right also, the smaller bowl went on the edge of the bigger bowl. Wow 5.00 what a great unit. Some really great items. What a great profit!!! You sure do know how to pick them : ) Keep it up Janna! ♡

ALWAYS Remember to pull Drawers completely out to look at them, Families that lived in the Country use to Tape envelopes with CASH in them on the bottoms and Backs of Drawers,, a Robber would never find them, EVEN if they pulled the Drawer out to look inside !!! You're Welcome !!!

That chip and dip set is exactly like the one I received as a wedding gift in 1965.

The glasses are made by Culver glass company and are from the early to mid 1960s. They’re highly collected and the design on them is made with genuine 24 karat gold. Cool stuff!

OMGOSH!! That clock radio I got one 41 years ago!! It was my new clock radio to get up to school with!! I use to pick up radio stations 500 miles away with that little thing!! Love it!! The little TV was from the early 80’s very late 70’s

I just did a quick look and there are chests for $500 to $1,500 and the chairs can go from $100 to $300 each. Wow

Yes I think they got under cut on the prices of a few items ,like the dish set $100.00 ,the tv, the Hope chest $100.-150.00. I would have loved that whole thing put right in my house . Beautiful things.

Your daughters have the best “Oh Dad!” faces!! Out of all the video channels I enjoy yours the best!! You are so organized, it makes the videos fun. I scream at the tv when I watch Vegas!! Box with glasses is definitely a 50’s early sixties box as many of the style of the things my mother had which were bought at that time

I had to chuckle when Jana pulled out the dip bowl, my dad Rep'd those things when I was a kid. All the bar-ware looked sooooo familiar and yes all the glassware was high end, early '60s. The Danish pieces were in incredibly good condition.

You hit the Retro gold mine. Very sellable. That was a chip and dip bowl. I remember those. The table and chairs should bring good. Saw two of those chairs on antique road show in orange that brought a high price. Many people are into retro today.

I just don’t like dealing in China. Heavy, breakable, hard to pack/ship. I’ve sold some and know there’s money there but I’d rather turn it quick for less. Just my preference. I gave away two beautiful sets just yesterday at the end of the flea market. It’s surprising there’s not more resellers trying to scoop the stuff up.

My mother bought that China from Montgomery Wards, and paid $50. For place setting for 8. That was 50 years ago. I have it now.

That small round glass lid was a cheese dome. My grandfathered LOVED his. He had a dark piece of wood and would put around a 2lb chunk of colby or swiss and he cut off a piece and put it under that dome and let it sit on the table. Cold cheese has almost no taste. Warm colby and warm swiss has a GREAT taste. After he died, I got his and still use it to this day. He died in 1985.

Those green fiberglass chairs were from the years 1970 - 1971. I recognize them. They can be cleaned with just soap, & water. Polished with a squeezed lemon. All the wood furniture can be re finished with stain, or tung oil. Then buffed to remove the extra from the surface.

You are right. The small bowl hangs off the side for dip and chips or crackers in the large bowl.

I think because it was dark and some of the furniture was backwards. It threw everyone off. Buyers typically shy away from furniture anyway. Or maybe because it was the last stop of the day? I don’t know for sure but I’m happy they didn’t run us up!
