Welcome back to another video! Today im super excited to introduce you to the Shasta RV Phoenix 5th wheel! This is an awesome mid profile 5th wheel! This is Model 392bl which is a mid bunk 5th wheel that also gives you an outside kitchen! When I say it has an outside kitchen I mean its more like outside entertainment center its absolutely amazing! Now for those of you who has never heard of Shasta RV they are owned by Coachmen who is owned by Forest River. What I am a huge fan of is that they build along side of coachmen so this product is just like the coachmen chaparral. They use azdel which I love and honestly I like the name phoenix more then chaparral .

Love this one!♥️ Only dislike is window treatment, but easily fixed! Love the shower, coat closet at entry, oven, large sink, refrigerator, office with door, large living area, pantry, heated & enclosed underbelly and the price!

Dislike- I need nightstands with a drawer and outlets. A sink at the outdoor kitchen. I would like a convection oven and use the space for the standard oven for a drawer dishwasher. Likes- Bunk that can be used for an office or guest room. A large shower with a bench. Washer dryer hook up. Thanks guys for the 5th wheel review, we are subscribed to the Towables channel and look forward to more videos there as well!

While a motorhome would be really nice to drive I love how with a 5th wheel I can drive across the country and setup my 5th wheel and leave it sitting and drive my truck to the store easy peesy. It only takes one time shopping for essentials at a truck stop to realize that truck stop prices are horrible! Once setup at a campsite the freedom to go anywhere in your truck is amazing.

I love mid bunks 5th wheels! This is definitely a full time rv. Love these floor plans. Especially because it’s like a second private bedroom or turn it into an office. This is perfect for me to live in full time and have my daughter come and visit. Fingers 🤞 I hit the lottery. Lol

I've seen other RVs with no handles on the drawers and the reason was since it's a small walk through area it's easier to get things snagged on them. Shirts and pants mostly by brushing up against them. Just not having them fixes that issue. Might not be their reason, but it's the best one I could think of :p

Hi Matt and Andrea! I loved this Fifth wheel. It’s very nice inside. Love the living room space. The appliances are great and the bathroom shower is huge and loved the bedroom. Loved the outdoor kitchen. I love fifth wheels that’s my favorite Rv right there. I like all Rvs. They are so fun to look at. You both do a great job of showing us all the rvs. Thank you so much. Matt your Nationals are winning tonight. Nice outside kitchen - you always want a metal kitchen so if it gets wet it won't fall apart. You can turn the bunk area into a office - full-time peeps that will let you work from the road...not bad.

I don't like how little the countertop space is beside the stove. I love how they included a shelf above the washing machine so your laundry supplies are easily accessible.

You might want to put your second channel on your main channel's "channels" page so you can get there easier.

I think when you take a look at the spaghetti wiring under the front cap, it should make you a little weary about the construction process. Message to RV builders, when you grab all the wiring and shove it together with a zip tie it’s a concern. Looking great Matt 👍👍👍👍👍

I am super excited to see a 5th wheel towable, it's been 3 months 👏👏👏, not sure why you need 6 tv's great shower and 4 P's. The bathroom is great 👍The bedroom valances are bad 👎, the valances in the living area are nice 👌, vents in the floor are hard to keep clean 👎, Over all really nice, nothing is a deal breaker, I would buy it. Stay safe you two.

Love this RV. This my first hearing this brand and I am impressed. Love the spacious living room, table with chairs, bunk room is awesome, and the bathroom is one of the best I have seen. There isn’t anything that I do not like.

Matt you are looking great! Andrea your hair is beautiful!!! 3 things I love about this RV #1 it has a washer/dryer hook up #2 the price #3 extra room 3 things I don't like #1. It's a washer/dryer combo not stackable ( but love that it has a something) #2. That I don't own it yet. :-) #3. The brown colors. Well, Matt and Andrea, that's it for me I can't wait to join the club!!! ( Could you hear Matt in that sentence? lol )

With the big thing with gaming PCs and games consoles, especially with the upcoming Xbox Series X and PS5, (they are large sized) Rv manufacturers need to also consider spacing and cooling setups around the main tv...Also dislike is room only for combo washer/dryer and not stack unit. Combo units never work as well as separate units...

I have to say, I love this RV!! Especially that there is an "office space"... the 3 things I dislike is 1) the steps needing to be pulled up and down... we own an RV and I hate lifting the steps up n down.. 2) man hard to think.. maybe the bunk.. And 3) the valances made with material... What I love is 1) the office / extra room, 2) the whole kitchen... and 3) the residential shower...

You just can't beat the space in a 5th wheel so everything on the inside is roomy although the island bench could be a little further from the refrigerator ... a fan for sure !!

The shower is huuuuuge! And I love the big skylight above it. Showers are usually really dark. Love the little office and the upper bunk for kids out of the way. I like the separated dining seating and the table extension.

3 Likes: 1: Living room area with entertainment center and large TV 2: Nice bathroom with big shower 3: Loft above bunk room can be used for either sleeping kids or it makes a great storage space 3 Dislikes: 1: Hideous Valences! 2: No flip-up bunk above sofa in bunk room 3: Outdoor kitchen door looks like a pain to close, especially if you are short, and there is also no sink Overall this looks like a great choice for a smaller family with younger kids

Love; The big/long bed..... The large shower...... The TV room....... One extra Love...... The tall/high kitchen door outside, I'm 6'5" tall, sorry Matt....Also Love the front steps........ Dislike; The all in one washer/drier........ The den could be made into a washer/dryer room, giving more room for cloths in the bed......... Great Video's..... God Bless !

I REALLY like this 5th wheel! Cons: adding cpap stations would be good, would prefer convection microwave, and would like a sink in outdoor kitchen - agree with Matt and Andrea on others. Pros: GREAT bathroom (but would prefer no seat in shower), Great layout in living room, and love the fridge. I really like this 5th wheel inside and out! Wonder if it comes in the lighter decor...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything about this! The layout, the decor, the loft(except the frilly valence). HOWEVER, I've seen fifth wheels jackknife in front of me on the road out in Vegas, so I will never own one. What I really want to see, is a hybridization of this layout, in an actual RV. I'd buy that sucker in a New York minute! Andrea! Your hair looks beautiful!

3 things I love are 1: that giant ass TV! And that its directly across from the recliners! 2: love the residential fridge. 3: the mid bunk and the small loft are great! The bunk room could become a place for my DIY arcade cabinet I'm making (after the kids are grown and on their own).

That is huge! Likes- 1. Great bathroom. 2 kitchen appliances 3. I like that you don’t have to “convert the living area” to sleep a family of 4 Dislikes. 1 grandmas window treatments but like Andrea said being able to change the fabric is nice (why don’t they do that with all window treatments and skip the valences entirely ?? 2. Was there a water source for the outside kitchen??? I would rather have a small sink than another tv. 3. If you had a cpap machine I didn’t see a place to put it in the master bedroom This was a great event though, love all the storage.

FINALLY!!!!!!! Yay a towable....been thinking you weren’t ever going to do them again!! Lots of things I like about this rig, but biggest thing I don’t like and that’s the location for washer & dryer. You’d have to sit on the bed to do laundry.

Another great review!! My likes😍...1. All the windows for that natural light to shine through 2. When watching TV, you are not looking toward the kitchen(can’t be distracted during the game) 3. I have an option on where to watch TV outside(once again, I don’t want to be distracted by someone going to get a tasty beverage) & dislikes😫... 1. That outdoor kitchen hatch door, I’m 5’2” and I don’t want a strap flapping around 2. I totally agree, the valances🤦‍♀️, I just want them to go away 3. Did I mention I want those valances to go away? They are bad...really bad🤢

Love everything but the valances. The lack of handles on the island are probably because the slide would hit them when closed. This would be an ideal for us to full time in someday.

Hi guy's ,wow it's been a long time for a tow able video . Love this 5th wheel lots of storage , great kitchen and living room . The wife loves that refrigerator . She like Andrea don't like those valances but I do like that they do not go all the way down . That bunk room is great the loft is for kids or storage . Their are somethings I don't care for get rid of that carpet it just aggravating . In that front closet is not much room , move the washer dryer to one side .Then open the rest of it for bigger closet . Just a little tweak and it's good to go .

A few ideas that would really upgrade this 5th wheel would be a sliding metal tray for that big pass through storage area and while the ladder on the back has decent dimensions it looked a bit wobbly when Matt climbed up. A sturdier ladder would be better.

My wife and I really love this 5th wheel. Great bathroom, great livingroom, great master bedroom. Don't like the valances, or the outside kitchen door. Matt looking good with the diet. Andrea, pretty as ever.

+great living room and layout - LOVE The loft, because honestly, you just need a place for guests to sleep and a mattress in a loft is 20x better than a couch. + Price. Let's be honest - why would you not spend $30K on a very slightly used truck and $50K or so for this instead of a class C? I can see spending $100K or so on a class A, but class Cs never really made much sense to me versus a truck and a separate 5th wheel. + Like the second room. - I wish the bonus room was set up as a dining room and office. Ditch the sofa/second TV idea. - still not a fan of the separate pedestal kitchen counter. Would rather have just open floor to make it feel even more spacious. - outside door needs a handle, obviously, but for me, the lack of meaningful batteries and generator is a minus.

I love this! It makes me wish I had a truck. My 3 dislikes are the door on the outdoor kitchen and the black & grey tank hookup being under the slide & I don’t think is prepped for solar but I may have missed that. I love everything else.

Thanks for this review! I like this floor plan. We currently have a Cougar fifth wheel and we are planning to relocate to FL within the next year (or 2-3). Once we are there, I was worried about what brand of RV we would purchase when we go to update since you don’t sell Cougars. Well, after watching this review, I think you may have some viable fifth wheel options for us. Keep up the great work! I love y’all’s videos! I was also able to sneak two of your stickers onto the back our fifth wheel without the hubby noticing for a few months ... LOL!

Omg so happy to see a 5th wheel. Was going to ask after only ever seeing drivables. This is a great model with everything I could want. But for the size. We want something able to easily boondock and get into to majority of parks but still be large enough to full time. Going to subscribe to your other channel. Thanks for the great reviews

I bet it doesn’t have drawer handles because of the kitchen slide out. It might not have enough clearance for a handle.

The Way I watched a video Matt made a few weeks/months ago (I can’t remember when since corona has my time clock turned off). Anyway there was a slide in the bedroom. It would scrape the drawer by the bed and it scratched the slides wood trim. Matt mentioned that it was because the cabinet drawer had a pull on it and cautioned that the pull needed to be removed.

Absolute insane! 6 TV's, outside kitchen, awesome layout, BUT "prepped for generator, prepped for rear camera"? Seriously flawed in that respect in my book. As to those valances, Andrea is spot on. I know the RV industry uses valances to hide workings of shades/blinds, but one would think they would come up with a less obtrusive (and cheaper for them 😋) solution. Winnebagos are the worst, larger and uglier than most. Another great video and really nice unit. Matt, your weight loss is really showing in your face. Question? Step storage while in transit ... Where do they go? And you finished the video forgetting to come back to the issue witt the dinette?

Love the bathroom, love the Azdel, love the second bedroom/office/whatever, and I liked the fabric valances because they will be easy to swap out whenever you change your color scheme. And I loved that fridge! Dislikes: I didn't like how low-hanging the black/grey tank drain was. I don't like how the stove is in a little cubby (those walls will be stained and greasy in no time!). And I don't like that it isn't at least prepped for solar. And I might like the price if I already owned a suitable tow vehicle, (Which I don't).

I love the thinking that went into this fifth wheel. I love the offset sink in the island, freeing up the rest of it for counter space. Love the appliances. A big thing is a sliding door on the bathroom versus a hinged door. As we all know, those hinged doors are nightmares. The storage is phenomenal and who don't love an outside kitchen? Good review as always guys! 👍

Three things we liked were the res. fridge, bathroom, and THE 6 TV'S!!!!!!!! we didn't like that there was no sink in the outdoor kitchen, b & G dump placement, and the valances.

Likes 1 the She Slide 2 shower. 3 living room/kitchen Dislikes. 1 no slide awnings 2. Ruffled valances. 3 no handles for drawers This layout is better than a class A. Pleasantly surprised.

Our likes: * We love the room that 5th wheel trailers provide. Although this layout is pretty standard for a 5th wheel mid-bunk, the layout works well. It's much roomier than other options and has a good amount of both internal and external storage. * Good color choices. * Always love units that are prepped for a washer/dryer. It makes it much easier to take a family on the road. Our dislikes: * It''s always good to see a bit of bar seating with the kitchen island, especially with a unit that sleeps up to 8 people. * The ruffled curtains in the bedroom are not a great choice. Why not use the same valance design as in the rest of the unit? * We don't like carpet on the slides. It's much easier to keep the floors clean if all you need is a broom/dustpan and a mop.

3 likes 1. Outdoor kitchen has a grill. 2. Kitchen appliances and layout 3. Nice size pantry 3 dislikes 1. Only a 48 gallon fresh water tank. All 5th wheels that size should have a minimum of 120 gallons. 2. No solar panels. Time to start making that a standard item 3. Don't like floor vents. Too many things fall into it. But all in all it's a nice 5h wheel for the price.

Hey Matt, Great floor plan! Any chance you can order these rigs in other color schemes? They all seem to come in brown/off white. Black or almost black furniture. Cream cabinets & cream furniture or pale natural leather would be nice etc...Seems they all look the same these days. The private office or extra bedroom is a lovely floor plan 👍🏼♥️. I can’t stand the dark trim around the slides 🧐. Wake up manufacturers! People want an OPEN feel. Outside kitchens are nice but not a staple. Grilling over a fire is the point in camping. Keep up the great work you two 😘

Wow hard to believe this is a travel trailer. You could live in there full time and be super comfortable, especially if you are single.

Disagree with you about the drawer handles. The way they did it gives you more space to pass through.

Likes: entry step is great, direct tv viewing is great in more than one location, prefer these outside wall strips over the real wavy over done ones usually encountered. Would never have a residential refrigerator unless the 12V ones with solar and generator. Why can’t all RV’s have that larger oven?
