Hey babes! So we probably all know when ELF released their super affordable $6 16-hour camo concealer that the beauty community went nuts! It was definitely a game-changer for the drugstore. Unfortunately, not everyone can use a matte heavy-duty concealer and thus the new hydrating camo concealer was born! As someone with dry, creasing under eyes I thought this would be PERFECT for me to test out! In this video, I'm testing out both all day and letting you know my thoughts. I hope you enjoy! Same.... I started with the reg camo concealer, I loved it cause I love matte anything! But the hydrating is so good cause it doesn't crease at all! 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I like both the hydrating is a lil more 🤏🏼 creamier! 🙌🏼🥰

I wish the undertones of the hydrating one were like the regular formula. The undertones are really off and almost greyish or too pink on me ): good thing theyre affordable so i have to pick up 2 to mix

i use the deep olive one as a cream type contour and it is fire, its so hard to find the proper bronzer and contour for a olive toned person but when i found this concealer i was siced (plus Walmart had it on sale for $2)

Haven’t tried the original but I lovee the hydrating one! It blends so well and is very comfy to wear 🙏🏼 It works as well as Tarte Shape Tape for me (and for like, 1/5 of the price lol), to the point where I believe it’s gonna be my new go-to concealer ✨ PS Yaassss that eye makeup and butterfly clips!! 🙌🏼 🔥 🔥 I haven’t seen or worn those in yearssss, I’m happy to see they’re making a comeback 🙏🏼 🦋 🦋

I use press ons ALL the time just these ones looked funny because my nails underneath or SO tiny and they’re clear 😅 I glue mine down usually and they last at least a week 👍🏼

i have the hydrating camo and the original matte (i hated the matte i didn’t mean to get it, i have very very dry skin) also the fact that my usual super clear skin has been breaking out terribly for no reason the past few months 😭 (gtg to a dermatologist for this shit) but anyways, idk maybe it’s just my texture that i have going on now, or maybe powder something. But every concealer I use creases under my eyes so I can’t get mad at any concealer tbh, i try to avoid that area. But even past my creases it looks so dry??? I’m trying to find good hydrating concealers. Possibility I have shit powder, or it’s just my skin. But it sits, separates while i’m blending? it’s honestly really shit for me 😭

I honestly was so disappointed with the hydrating concealer, I was so excited for it since I have dry skin but damnnn it creases so bad on me even after setting powder! 😩 no other concealer does that for me I don't get it. and the shades are sooo off I ordered my shade and it's so much darker. this eyeshadow look is BOMB thoughhh 😍

Yeah these are both the same shade and the hydrating definitely is darker. I believe they tried to match the shades up with the names as they were way off before. Sucks though! I crease with all my concealers but I’ll keep on testing 😭😭😭

Went to my local target and all the elf concealers were dried out ? Am I trippen or its supposed to be like that . Literally would dip the wand thing in whatever and it had no product on it at all

Because people open them, at least I’ve seen people doing it. I hate that ): but try walmart they have the concealers too and they are not supposed to be dry at all. Mine was full, not opened at all and creamy.

Sounds like you need an under eye primer. That happens to me with every concealer until I got one. ELF makes a great one. It’s slightly pink so it brightens and it’s very creamy. Just let it set for 30 seconds

smh they’re the same concealers yo. hydrating is made for dry skin and camo is better suited for oily skin. they’re both bomb. just choose the right one
