As a Swede.. It's warming my heart to realize how massive ABBA was (still is) all over the world. Not just some small little land up north but All over the WORLD. Crazy.. And it makes me happy to see people appreciate them still!

It wasn't just ABBA. You had Roxette, Ace of Base, and if I am not crazy Dr.Alban was Swedish too albeit he wasn't as popular as the rest.

Several do! There is a German metal band At Vance who has covered several ABBA tracks. There also are compilation albums on KZfaq called something like Sweden Goes Metal that contain metal covers of pop song hits from Swedish artists. You should check these out.

Dancing Queen was epic and I love that they kept cutting to the band playing. Sometimes I think people forget how great they are playing on key and impromptu songs in the blinds. Just awesome

Abba was one of my Dad's favorite bands. We would listen to and Dance to Abba when I was young. Dad has since passed and I still listen and dance to Abba and all of the wonderful memories come back to me to keep. Since then I have listened and danced to Abba with my children and now my grandchildren. 💞

It just doesn't get any better than a heavy metal version of "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!!!" This isn't my kind of music, but he had a great voice, exquisitely interpreted, and I really enjoyed it at age 76, so that's an ultimate compliment! Talent shows. ABBA deserves so much credit for their timeless music. Swedes are incredible people.... I even married one!!

Once again, you're reminded how much ahead of their time they were. Each and everyone of these, only slighty uppdated, versions sound like modern day original songs that could have been released yesterday, when they are, infact, 40 years old classic pop songs. Abba is from sweden,but as a norwegian,i feel we have ownership in being proud of them. I never get tired of abba, the music is attached to a whole lot of good memory's. The films just added to the feelings too. Well done, ABBA.

That girl in pink dress is probably my favorite, she can really stay in tune while singing those high notes and annunciates the words, making it look so effortless. That song is really hard to sing correctly.

Laura Vargas was singing and going through emotions like she was relieving some painful moments of her life again. And we are going thru that experience with her. I was so afraid she was going to break down and not finish her song. I glad she made it thru. What an intense experience must have been for her!

I think abba's songs can awaken people's identity from a long slumber in a contemporary style. It's really nice to listen to music, I can feel it right away.
