Really liked the fact that everything was on the small side so you could still comfortably enjoy the huge variety of things.

That was something else I loved about it. I love light bites because you get to try so many flavors. And all those little savories were next level up from the standard sandwiches 😋

Last year I went for Afternoon Tea as THE highlight of my visit to the Balmoral Hotel and was absolutely excited. It was a high end experience and I can highly recommend. Next month I'm back in Edinburgh and booked a table at the Signet Library and really looking forward to this. The place looks stunning and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your experience!!

Small is beautiful, as the saying goes. That is quite a recommendation! It would be a cool Christmas gift for someone (or two). The sort of classy place that might attract (other) celebrities.;-) As a fan of bookshops and libraries I am certain I would love it.

Okay, could you perhaps be a little biased, as a librarian? In all seriousness, based on the visuals, I would have to agree with you. The venue was gorgeous, the variety and quality of the food looked amazing. Will definitely have to book there next time we're in Edinburgh. It's a place I hadn't heard of.

The bias is certainly strong in this one! 😆 But even if you moved the food and service to another venue, it would be an incredible tea. Definitely book one next time you’re in Edinburgh!

Indeed! Smoked salmon taco. I have to admit, I didn’t eat that as I don’t like fish. But I’m sure it was tasty for those who do.

@Karen Bartlett Definitely. I’ve had a couple more since then and this is still the star. I can’t imagine anyone will top this. Plus, Edinburgh is just a fantastic city. I hope you can get there!
