I had a master electrician and his apprentice come by and hardwire LED lights up in my Eternia. After the price of pulling a permit and the cost of labor and supplies it ended up costing me $970. I thought it was money well spent until Mr Home Arcade put this video out. I could have saved $950 and followed Mr Home Arcade’s instructions. That’s why he is the most valuable member of the MOTU community.

Fantastic upgrade. I may have to do that as well but don’t want to superglue on permanently. I got my grasslands and a few small diorama pieces yesterday. Also ordered a cool backdrop…more of a sunset mountain range with some red clouds in the mix. It looks misty and a bit magical like Eternia.

Damn, this shit really is an awesome upgrade. Makes me want to buy the Eternia play set now.

Damn, looks like it was meant to be there 😃 The only thing I would suggest to anybody that decide to do this mod is to use hot glue instead of super glue. Hot glue will keep the light securely in place and that way, mod is reversible as hot glue will leave no residue if you decide to take the light off at some point.

Looks real cool. I was thinking of getting those mini-spotlights. The set I got had 6 spotlights so I can use the others around the towers to highlight certain areas. I just need that Eternia now, seems to be running late.

I did that yesterday and found that led puck light for 5.00 it looks cool. Dollar tree has those lights.

Walmart has a massive sellout of 9000 led light units in the next 2 weeks, lol I would try VHB tape instead of super glue though...

Super glue is something I'd use in model kits, custom figures, repairs, or joint tightening on action figures. I'd never use it on something as expensive as Eternia (Autism won't let me). You do you though. I'd rather use some form of sticky tack or Command adhesive patches if I ever want to light up my shit.

You hear about people getting damaged Eternia boxes? Sucks for the collectors :( i feel bad, but also delivery people don't care about their job enough to baby each individual package to the point where they just toss them around / throw them. At the same time you're paying a premium price now-a-days for the product, the company making the product should invest in getting that product to where it needs to get to safely, spacers, extra padding etc...
