😎 ABOUT THIS VIDEO 👇
These are the best and WORST Amazon marketplaces to sell in, in 2020.
So Amazon.com is obviously the king of ecommerce but did you know there are actually 16 Amazon marketplaces, and worldwide more than 50% of Amazon’s ecommerce traffic - actually comes from OUTSIDE the US?
That’s huge.
And a very common question I get is - ‘Myles, I’m from Australia, Amazon US seems so saturated, how about Amazon Australia’, or ‘Myles - I’m from Germany, should I sell in Amazon Germany instead?’
Won’t it be much easier to make sales and launch my first product in one of these other marketplaces that make up 50% of amazon’s traffic?
That pivotal decision could completely make or break your business.
I’ll answer that question in this video by ranking Amazon’s marketplaces, from best to worst.

Have been thinking about Canada since my virtual assistant suggested it because of less money to start out. Also, Junglescout doesn’t seem to work with Canada.

@@yesdinesh Amazon selling in India is not a good marketplace, customers returns and fraud customers are massive. US and UK customers. I have worked with lot of sellers they get different items in return means high loss.

I agree that for a first product, choosing a marketplace where there is significant enough demand is key. That being said, marketplaces such as Australia should not be overlooked for later expansion of your already existing products. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for sharing this beautifully laid out analysis and walking through your data driven decisions. This is pure gold. Honestly I’m surprised by the other comments that are all over the place and not seeming to understand the significance of what you just presented. Well, I’m glad I gleaned it: I’m expanding from the US where I currently sell and live, to Germany and Japan immediately. The data says it all. Thank you sincerely for presenting this. You rock!

Great video Myles 👍🏼 I agree that Amazon US is definitely the best marketplace to start selling in. I did previously look at Amazon Australia, however the lack of demand and ability to get reliable data means it’s not a great opportunity at the moment.

Another great video, cheers man. I'm 100% behind you on all of this... apart from Japan. Japan is carnage dude. This could be a much longer message... but the bottom line is that Japan is just different. I'd love to know how you get on with your research and whether you choose to launch here or not. The potential is huge (and in time I think it will be right up there with the US, UK and Germany) but in many ways when you start on Amazon Japan it's like going right back to the beginning and all the rules are different!

Hi Myles! Wicked content!! Thank you. Are you planning to make the same content for 2022? Due to the pandemic and container shortage, our Q4 seems not so optimistic in Amazon USA. I would love to see how things were changed since 2020.

Really good analysis, I would add a point of view though. I think India should be higher because so many people live there. GDP PPP is low for every citizen. But if you look at the 20% (270 million) or 5% (68 million) that earn the most, they may have an income (and a population) comparable to France, Italy, Canada and Spain.
