I think the 'Say My Name' bridge is building graduation and dynamic for the last chorus (that makes the whole song so speacial). I feel it sligthly changes the key so it's not that drastic and it's more mealodical for ear, prepares for what's to come. It's a small pause before the whole and let us rest so we don't feel overwhelmed if it went with the powerful vibe all-through the song. I think that is why. I personaly find the whole bridge till the end of the song the best part and personally love how it graduates.

well isnt wave supposed to be a happy summer song that gives you the sense of being free? i feel like the phrase hakuna matata fits well with the concept. also yes wonderland mingi rap blast it at my funeral 4:40 i agree, its like it keeps getting more intense. seonghwa+yunho+jongho's part depends more on vocals at the beginning of the bridge, then san+wooyoung's part is more chanting, then hongjoong+mingi's part is straight up rapping with a lot of power. this all makes it feel like its building up to something especially when the beat doubles every time it transitions to the next section. 8:43 YES THIS PLEASE I CAN'T STAND THIS PART. i really don't like whispering at all but especially with a voice as deep as mingi's... all i can think about is hot breath in my ear. i feel like it would have been better if he just used his voice or if someone with a higher, more nasal voice whispered it if they really wanted it to be whispered. OR, SCRATCH THAT, just have mingi whisper it with a more nasal placement and further away from the mic so it doesn't sound so awkward.

So for Treasure, I would say my favourite part is the chorus! Jongho’s adlibs and Mingi’s “We would be savage" are perfectttt! But my least favourite part is the bridge 🥲 I think it’s perhaps a bit too slow 😔 but still, such a good debut song! I’d love to know what you think :)
