오늘은 수원에서 대구로 내려가는 길에 휴게소에 들러서 올리에게 새로운 미션을 줍니다! 바로 휴게소에서 먹고싶은 음식 마음대로 사오기...!! 근데 20분만에 나타난 올리의 손에 잔뜩 담겨있던 음식의 정체는...?! 어디선가 나는 발냄새는 무엇.......???

yeah i think its because josh has a tendency to giggle and focus on his mistakes that he makes, which is fine as theyre best friends, but if youre trying to focus on communication in a new language, then its a bit distracting i guess

yeah exactly! I mean I love that he’s such a good friend and Ollie wouldn’t be at this stage without him but I’m also glad that they are doing this series so that Ollie has the chance to be more dependent on himself and more confident on his own too. It’ll help him a lot!

i believe in one of their videos they kinda explained that ollie actually learned a lot of korean but when they do yt videos, cus his 'persona' is meant to be the worse at korean of the 2 that's why it's hard to showcase what he's learnt, and that's why they did this series

It's a good idea right?! It lets him solidify his vocabulary and experience repeat successes, you can see he's blooming like a flower each time he succeeds and he tries a little more vocab and becomes more confident each time. 🥰

I’m so impressed by Ollie’s Korean, as someone who is learning Korean, it’s hard to talk to people in the language you are learning but he have made me more confident to learn and talk to people in Korean

This is THE best KE series we got on so many levels; first of all the production is INSANELY good (I mean all their productions are but this one obviously has a higher budget). It also has an actual plot and story-line which makes it SOOO interesting that it's almost like a TV reality show. and it's the main character is actually Ollie which makes it even better. I love how he's so smart and active in learning, it's so amusing and inspiring.

Ollie is getting so good at conversing with people. He feels so confident and each time he gets so much better. The words he's learned for 2 years all of a sudden come to him and its so great. I feel like although Josh loves him, obvi, its a bit hard to practice with someone so much better.

All I know about Korean rest stops is from Running Man episodes, 266 for example. They are frequent and I assume they were designed into the highway system.

I went to one last year and it was this magical place with awsome food and even a convenience store.. best experience ever lol the only funny thing is that you have to take toilet paper at entrance of the toilets bc there's none inside lol

Im trying to learn Korean myself and listening to you guys with those subtitles is really helping me to understand how you guys speak the words and phrases....especially as I'm also from England so I can hear it from an English man!
