Kindness seems to have universally gotten the "Quick! Grab something from the design bin and call it an armor evolution!" treatment.

I kind of love Veemon's digivolution using TK's Digi-Egg of Hope, Sagittarimon, because it uses elements of both Flamedramon and Raidramon.

There's a CD that apparently is in the Digimon 02 continuity that has Joe accidentally knocking into everyone which causes them all to get mixed up between their D-terminals and result in some armor digivolutions. I'm not joking. A CD.

I had an idea of Dark Crests that never happened in the show, but here's my idea for it! Have it be an 8 person group to match each OG Digi-Destined. They'll have the crests of; _FEAR -> [vs Crest of COURAGE]_ _LONELINESS -> [vs Crest of FRIENDSHIP]_ _HATE -> [vs Crest of LOVE]_ _DENIAL -> [vs Crest of KNOWLEDGE]_ _GUILT -> [vs Crest of RELIABILITY]_ _DECEPTION -> [vs Crest of SINCERITY]_ _ANGUISH -> [vs Crest of HOPE]_ _DARKNESS -> [vs Crest of LIGHT]_

As from Digimon World Dawn/Dusk it is said that Shadramon has evil attributes, I really want to see a movie where Ken uses the DigiEgg of Courage to evolve Wormmon in anger a la Guilmon to Megidramon in Tamers. That'd also fit so well with Ken's origins and his "evil" past!

Easily agree to both Shadramon and Rinkmon. They are so cool and I love them. Although I will be honest most Armored Evolutions that are not from the show seem to be random Digimon just put into a category so they can have all the armored evolutions in a game.

I wish I still had my D terminal and D3 digivice, but alas they were lost when I moved many many years ago. Such a fun toy! So glad I found your channel, because I’m really loving digimon these days

I love this video! All I used to do was dig deep with the digivolutions we never got to see with crests, and ultimate/megas and even the frontier hybrid evolutions (that we SHOULD have seen). Not to mention digitubers are just so far and few.

Important thing to note about Armor Digivolutions. The ones in the show are designed to accommodate the Japanese Armor Digivolving figures. That’s why the ones in the show have so much of the original Digimon in them. The toys use a transforming figure of the Rookie as a base to add parts on top of. The Veemon evolutions might also appear in the wonder swan games (been a minute since I read up on them) and could have additional effort from being designed for that.

I remember about the time this came out, I was going crazy drawing so many different digi armours for the previous seasons Digi destined digimon 😂 I should one day perhaps do a redraw of them as I feel my artistic experience has grown over the last… 19 years >_< Good lord, I’m old.

I would argue Armour Digimon are slightly weaker than Champion level, since soon as the kids unlock Champion form they largely ditch the Armour forms. Golden Armour Digimon being Ultimate/Mega level. I'd say Ultimate since Rapidmon exists in Golden Armour and also Ultimate forms. So Magnamon may have also been Veemon's Ultimate form in a non-golden form had he gone Ultimate on his own.

Something I'm working on is kind like the legendary spirits digivolving into susanoomon I'm doing Veemon with half of the eggs and wormmon with the other half and being 2 megas that combine into something comprised of all of the eggs...and even after that incorporating the golden digi-eggs

A Drawfee episode had them draw an evolution of Opossomon without knowing who it was, or maybe Opposomon himself without seeing who it was... Forgot which one. Angemon is mammalian because angels are humanoid which is primate based which is mammalian. Shadramon is freaking awesome actually. I think it is in Digimon World Dusk, because besides your videos I feel like I've seen them before.

I really like Quetzalmon both in design and as a Wormmon evo. And it looks like it's about to join the short list of armour Digimon to have an animé appearance! (If you don't count it's bio variant from Data Squad)

Opossumon for Gatomon reminded me; didn't Wizardmon hand out balloons to children while looking for the 8th Child? So kind of a cute nod there. Possibly could've worked especially since Wizardmon was the first one to show Kindness to Gatomon

Crest of Light and Hope supposed to be compatible.. but how they destroyed that 'bond' by making Patamon armor-digivolved into fish with boxing gloves?? I had a high hope that he would regain some of his angelic feature and aura.. but noooo... *sigh..

It could be a coincidence, but Rinkmon sure looks like it draws a lot of inspiration from the character Jet Link/002 of the anime Cyborg 009. The head crest/hair of the digimon are very similar, as well as the scarf, buttons on the uniform, and overall proportions. I also noticed while reading about it that its bio mentions that it's a digimon created from data from an experiment with an accelerator. This also somewhat parallels the character 002, who's a cyborg created as part of an experimental program and is the first to contain an "accelerator", a prominent piece of cyber tech in the series.

I would've liked to see Sagittarimon. I don't understand why they went for the Digiegg of Hope though since it's just a fusion between Veemon's other two Armor digivolutions. A multi-Armor digivolution would be awesome.

I saw Shadramon for the first time in the rank up matches in Digimon World Dusk. He came in paired with Magnamon, which is an awesome combo and they were decently powerful, but sadly, Magnamon has more power and defense and was harder to defeat usually, than poor Shadramon which looks so much cooler.

I know that the design may not be as solid as other armor digimon, but my favourite armor is honeybeemon. (Veemon with the digi-egg of knowledge)

actually the more I look at gargoylemon the more I see a skinny Xveemon wrapped in bindings and honestly I knew searchmon's head looked familar...it reminds me of wormmon's other forms, it looks similar to stingmon and dinobeemon and jewelbeemon looks almost perfectly idenity outside the color

I may be late, but there was only one time when the Digi-destined accidentally swapped their Digi-egg armors, but it was only recorded as an audio track which was broadcasted only in Japan before the 2nd movie of Digimon was released. Thus the reason it isn't well known. There were fans who asked what happened during this audio Digimon episode and they got their answers on Reddit. I don't fully remember every single detail but this is a quick summary all the Digi-destined bumped into each other at school after returning from the digital world and their devices glowed. They grabbed their digivices and noticed the digi-eggs got swapped: TK got the digi-egg of courage, Yolei got the digi-egg of knowledge, Kari got the digi-egg of friendship, Cody got the digi-egg of Love, Davis had no digi-egg on his digivice and started a mental breakdown or something, he bumped his head started firmly believing he was the Digimon Emporer despite this event happened in the real world. He started summoning Digimon to do his biddings and in the end, after the other Digi-destined beat some sense in Davis he got the digi-egg of hope which evolved veemon into Sagitarrimon while for Ken I honestly don't remember which digi-egg he got from the others

I am a fan of FlameWizardmon from the Courage DigiEgg. Not just because I am a Wizardmon fan, but because the design is interesting without having to be over the top and it really fits with Wizardmon design wise.

I completely agree with most of the digimon on this list and it's a real crime we were robbed off something like Shadramon and Rinkmon.... all except Opossumon, after seeing that little rat digivolve into this *moe-pig-ginjika-anime-girl-lookin' ass Cho-Hakkaimon that is also supposedly a digimon...* was too much for me......I can't take these digimon seriously anymore nor look at them.... In addition to the ones listed here are some of my personal favorites: *Sagittarimon (Veemon - Hope)* a ridiculously cool literal combination of Flamedramon and Raidramon fused together into this centaur-like beast! the flame and lightning patterns and the colors combine together really well! as cool as it is I couldn't really imagine it appearing in the show because of how much it still resembles the other two forms, they would kind of make each other redundant *Sethmon (Veemon - Love)* an awesome diversion as the crude and rough and vicious looking antithesis to the smooth and graceful Halsemon as the two are counterparts to each other, it doesn't really have that much Veemon or 'Love' coming through it but I still find it to be a great fit! *Harpymon (Hawkmon - Hope)* I really like how it keeps the avian digimon thematic of this digimon-line, as almost all of Hawkmons armor digivolutions are able to fly, it has a lot of distinct details alluding to Hawkmon, just a great fit overall! I could definitely see this make an appearance in the anime! *Pteramon (Armadillomon - Love)* I find this to be really fitting as Armadillomon has some of the more unique and peculiar digivolutions, turning from an armadillo into a beetle and a submarine of all things, so why not turn into a fighter jet while we're at it! it also fits with the theme of the Digi-egg of Love granting flying and avian digivolutions - an odd but good fit *Kenkimon (Armadillomon - Friendship)* Same as with Pteramon, it sort of fits perfectly that the digimon that digivolves into a submarine could also digivolve into some sort of construction/bulldozer robot - looks really cool! (also im a huge sucker for Transformers and it basically looks like one) I could definitely see Cody ride this into battle or utilize it in some other creative way *Lynxmon (Gatomon - Courage)* I really like the way it keeps the feline form as it digivolves and still has Gatomon traits like the color purple and big paws and claws, really fits into the fire element theme that is seen and used often with the Digi-egg of Courage - IMO one of the more believable ones I could definitely see appearing in the show *Rabbitmon (Gatomon - Friendship)* I really like the way it turns into another cutesy mammalian digimon and still retains the recognizable Gatomon traits with the use of the colors, the stripe patterns and gloves - it's cute and cuddly to fit nicely into the theme of friendship! Also very believable and fitting digivolution I could definitely see utilized in the anime

NATIVE AMERICAN DINOSAUR! Allomon is such a great armour digivolution for Hawkmon, nothing says courage like a giant freaking dinosaur, it's why Greymon is so iconic.

I don't know about if this is the video it should be put on but, I started thinking towards the end of this video when you were talking about the DNA Digivolution with Veemon, and Wormmon, how they become Paildramon, then Imperialdramon, why did we never see the other's DNA Digivolutions Digivolve to their next forms, so wit Shakkoumon, it could have gone into SlashAngemon, because Vikemon is already a partner digimon, and then Silphymon of course going into Valkyrimon. I honestly think they left a lot to be desired when it came to that, just forgetting pretty much about the other DNA Digivolutions being able to evolve, and focusing on Davis and Ken with Paildramon. What do you think about this? If you don't like SlashAngemon, for Shakkoumon, something like Crossmon, Goddramon, maybe Clavis Angemon, or Plesiomon (I think this has both aspects of the Digiegg of Sincerity and of course the Holy aspect of Patamon). That is all I can think of.

What I didn't like about 02 is that Armor Evolution was pretty much shaftedd after Kimeramon's defeat and the level scaling made no sense. Apparently it's a weaker than Champion form which is funny considering Gatomon is a Champion level (even if it lost it's holy ring which justified the need for a power up). Some Champion besides Gatomon can apparently turn to Armor Digimon for some reason like XV-Mon Honestly I wonder why we didn't get Digimon abusing more split evolutions instead of a singular line of evolution. The exception was Greymon turning SkullGreymon or Virus MetalGreymon, but it would be nice to have an alternative form for various situation like with the armor evolution. What Digimon represents the crest of Kindness anyways? I think we have never get to see it. I like Patamon turning Prairiemon with the Digi-Egg of Kindness, but I don't understand how Love can turn it into a bat... Meanwhile Ponchomon looks like it could be a Palmmon Evolution. And Stegomon looks like it should belong to Armadillomon. That's some weird shit.

To bad about it being evil. It would be cool if they introduced a good variant with maybe slight lighter colors similar to the Antylamons.

My favorites when I was a kid were Togemogumon because I had a card, and Bucchiemon because even though it's a weak design, it felt like this was the official Ken armor digivolution that we never saw. So it had that going for it.

I think I like your videos where you explain the expanded stuff that we didn't see in the anime(s) like this one. I knew a fair amount about the expanded digimon universe, but today is the first time I'm made aware there are more Digiegg of Miracles evplutions other than Magnamon and Rapidmon Golden (which don't think actually counts as Armor stage? Idk)

Another idea, what if the Armor's were more true to 01? 4 or rather 5 of them are great! Courage is Fire with Dragons and Dino's. Love is Wind with Birds. Sincerity is Nature with Plant beings. Reliability is Water with Aquatic creatures. And Then there's Light, which I think of as the "Crest of Faith", it has the element of Light and is rather heavy on the Angelic and mythological things. That leaves Hope, Friendship, Knowledge and Kindness, unless we count Darkness... First off is Friendship, when used it shows Garurumon and his evolution line as a base, a lot of their attacks were Ice type, and they were canine in appearance. So what if the DigiEgg of Friendship made the user's Ice typed canines? Haildramon instead of Raidramon? Second is the DigiEgg of Knowledge, which had the Kabuterimon line as its base, Electric Bugs, and while they kept the bug part, they made it Earth type. So what if they didn't? Replacing Digmon's drills with the Thunderbolt Horn of Raidramon? We could get RaiKabuterimon! That leaves us with 2 types Earth and Metal, and 2 Crests/DigiEggs... Starting with Hope which sadly enough is basically a 2nd light type, now outside of Pegasusmon the others can't fly, but are mostly Zodiac themed, a lot of them have armor, so I suppose Metal fits best, The DigiEgg of Hope used Angemon as it's base, and Angemon had that golden staff, MagnaAngemon had a Sword-Gauntlet and an impressive helmet, while Seralphimon is covered in Knightly / Paladin armor, i could see Knightmon as an Armor evo for Hope. And then there is the God Awful Kindness evo's! The Egg looks like it should have been Mimi's just slap the Crest of Sincerity on that thing! Personally I'd make the egg Silver and the Crest brown, add in the Earth or Rock? Ground? type to it, and remove the cutesy evo's, make them Kick-ass and powerful looking, maybe the cutesy elements could be Gem stones - Ruby, Citrine, Topaz, Emerald,, Sapphire, Amethyst, Diamond, Obsidian, etc. - they'd be Strong like a Mountain but as quick as a Sandstorm! Darkness is Darkness, I could see Devimon's or Lilithmon's "Mark of Evil" being the Crest, they would all be Virus types, with powers of Darkness, Shadows, The Night, Blackholes, Demon powers etc. Scary (SkullSatamon or Dagomon), Evil (Devimon or Beelzamon) or Sensual (LadyDevimon or Lilithmon), would be the order of the day for their looks.

I liked most of those digivolutions, I always wanted to see more dna digivolutions with some of the others too.

I think Rinkmon works better for a Patamon armor evolution using the digiegg of friendship. You can give Hawkmon Thunderbirdmon instead

Imo , the digi mentals are the left over power from a powerful digimon compressed into a fake egg composed of the data (Champion evolution ) or whatever and they bring it into themselves temporarily to access that "artificial " evolution . The fact that digimon are armor digivolving without the egg makes me wonder if the data can influence unintentionally or even spread like a contagious state

What is the champions like Greymon, Angemon & Stingmon along with the Ultimates like Angewomon, MagnaAngemon & Zudomon etc. could Armor Digivolve? Becoming Ultimate and Mega level, and WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon could Armor or Golden Armor Digivolve to Super-Mega. And Omnimon too!!!

Also we saw ALOT of these unused Armor Digimon in the Digimon Tamers series, often as Mons of the Week the heroes (mainly Rika) would face in those first dozen or so episodes.

They missed a damn trick by A(Not having the 02 digimons digivolved forms being able to armour digivolve (an example bekng Xveemon being able to use the digi-egg of courage to reach like an armoured ultimate level) Or B( Combined armoured evolutions. The 02 digimon being embodied with the power of both eggs at the same time in a kinda faux warp digivoloution.
