Thanks so much for an art focused episode. My mom has run a folk art store and museum in L.A. on melrose since I was a very little kid - and I took a TON of art classes at Barnsdall Park in LA. I did everything from oils, watercolors, pencil, etching, wood cuts, etc. Never stuck with it but i appreciate all the work and inspiration that goes into an artist's piece. And you were able to show one of my new favorites - Sam Carter. He used to work Parades back in the day at Disneyland and DCA but did a bunch of extra art projects. He's been building his exposure and its great to see.

Yay Kate got a shout out!!! One day I hope to see some work like John and Kate there. The place where the sculptures one of the art dealers thought I could afford one of the paintings that just happened to go for 7500 and 5000.

Have you ever heard of a artist named wyland and if not you should look up his art work he is a amazing person and his art is beautiful.I have met him three times in my life and the first time I met him was in 93 and he gave me a nickname (whale woman) and the second time was in 94 and he remembered me and then he personalized my art book of his to me.
