Every time I see one of your videos, it makes me wanna grab a pencil and start drawing immediately. Sometimes I can't find the motivation to practice, but you make it look so easy and understandable that I no longer worry about being perfect, instead I wanna be messy and enjoy the experience.

Man you posted this during my burnout/art block so I missed it! Nice to see that there's a new Marco Bucci video to welcome me back into making art though! I'm going to start painting traditionally now, very interested in trying water color and also plan on working with acrylics once again. Wish me luck!

Your art style is truly unique! Has distinct personal characteristics that make it easy for people to recognize your work at a glance. This unique artistic language is really attractive.Your painting skills are becoming increasingly exquisite! Every stroke appears so smooth and powerful, and every piece of work is like a carefully crafted work of art.

Okay but can anyone please explain to me what artschool is? I get the feeling there is no equal term in my native language and I'm kind of at a loss here. Does this mean one goes to university and majors in something art related? Is it even University? Is it some club activity or a kind of extra class one takes in the evening? I really need some context here finally

You talk a LOT about shapes in composition. I think I get for the most part how to find interesting shapes when drawing and painting from life, but I'm not super sure how that translates to paintjng from imagination when you're the one making up the shapes.
@bradleyzumАй бұрын
There is a great book that touches on this called "lessons from the great masters " . It shows how they thought about shapes in 3d. Shows sketches from famous masters they did before paintings. Also a book by James gurney painting from imagination goes into shapes. You just invent the shapes in the thumbnail stage . Cheers

sorry but this piece @4:29 is a NO. the right arm, the body size or head size is so wrong and the nose is too small, ive been watching your videos and you always show this piece you might be thinking that this is your best piece but its not, your best ones are the cartoon painting style. did no one criticized you for that piece? i wish someone did a long time ago. so my theory is you used to drawing children/kids and art style big head small body shapes thats why this piece of yours didnt work, you advanced way to far going for realistic anatomy size when you work on this. i hope you will not keep showing this piece anymore.
