What I don't understand is that everyone says there is a huge need in IT but yet many people have been looking for jobs for long time. Even with certifications.

During the covid pandemic, so many companies hired alot more programmer than they actually needed in order to keep or move there business running online, but now they realise they dont need them so many companies have been laying off extra employees. Because of this, for the next 5 months to 1 year getting programming job will be very difficult. But it will all go back to normal after a year when everything settles down. So dont give up and keep gaining experience and certificates

There is a huge need for people with proven experience and extensive knowledge of a large tech stack most devs do not have lol. Its a woman wanting a dude who is 6'5, handsome, 6pack abs, makes 400K and is faithful and complaining she can't find a man lol

But why should they pay you to learn , just having some experience and in-depth understanding gives you a leg up! As long as you enjoy the process instead of making it money(its visible) you'll have fun while making a lot of money hopefully ,tbh try to solve a problem doesn't have to be coding or it

@@TechwithLucy Hii Lucy thanks for your reply. 1.I have a doubt in aws SA ROLE. My doubt is if we are not allowed to neither log-in into customers aws console to build solutions based on customers requirements nor to build anything hands-on why do we need to design and test the solutions. (aws-frameworks and architectures using various aws services). 2.To how extent does the prototype designed by SA gives desired output when the client implements it. 3.PLEASE ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS

I tried the first project, and it didn't go well, mainly because when I install new plugins it just shows this 504 error code, but when I check on EFS it was there, and refresh the page the plugin was installed, weird behavior, oh I spin up a t2.micro for lower cost, maybe this was the issue?

Adding some projects onto your resume would be good! I’d also recommend networking (reaching out to people on LinkedIn & attending some aws / cloud meet ups) for more opportunities

Thanks for the great project ideas, Lucy 😊Was wondering do you really think it’s possible for someone without a computer background ( neither academic or professional) to have a future in the the cloud industry? I’m really keen, but I was looking around LinkedIn and it seems everyone I found working for AWS as a solutions architect has some kind of computer related degree or past industry experience. I do have a Bachelor degree and I have many years in customer facing roles, now I’m actually working for AMZL as a management apprentice. Do you think there’s a chance to work for AWS if I study the theory and work on some personal projects such as the ones mentioned in this video?

Yes. You just have to show off any relevant skills and projects on your resume and in the interview show them the skills you learned in your projects. Learn terraform and Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
