Can't believe I passed on this version of Boba Fett. I really like the whole backstory associated with this figure. Hopefully, I can pick it up down the road. The new base design is a nice touch as well. You also killed it with the posing session at the end of the video.

Had to pass on this guy. It was hard, but I've been collecting hard for the past 12 months and had to draw myself a line, due to strain on finances and running out of display space. In addition I just recently got a sealed ESB 40th Anniversary Boba. I had several opportunities to buy Arena Boba and actually had him in the cart at Toys Wonderland and Sideshow on several occasions, but I really just had to resist. I've recently had some great scores getting a Deathtrooper Specialist, Rogue One Shoretrooper Captain and Imperial Disguise Jyn at bargain prices, so I really could live without any more Hot Toys, at least for a while. Funny enough, also quite recently I almost bought the Sideshow Prototype Boba Fett, but while searching I come across and bought the Ralph McQuarrie Prototype Boba statue with interchangeable helmets, which is a real gem. Arena Boba is an awesome figure though.

How long does pop collectibles take when ordering a first batch? Just ordered from them for the first time.

Anyone out there know the history behind the logo on Boba's blaster pistol holster? I'm of course speaking about the holster on the Black Arena Suit by Hot Toys. I had to magnify a high res picture of it to see it but the logo reads "NIMROD" and has an archer pictured on it. This maybe a trivia question that never gets answered by a fan but by the comic writer or prop maker themself ? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yeah, in the comics, he painted His Armor Black just for the tournament but it looks so good, it should be his color from now on. Whether comic or live-action, lol.

I preordered it immediately when it became available on Sideshow. I have almost all the Boba figures, and I think this will be one of the crowning jewels in the collection.

Again, a great piece to be sure. But is it a must have? Not convinced, but it is great for fans of comic renditions of our beloved characters like Fett. I am good with the two I already have.

I noticed this one too late. For some time, I considered repainting one myself, but in the end, I broke down. Paid an ebay scalper price. Do I have a slight problem with a Boba Fett obsession? No, not at all. As I do have the two pack Fett, seems I will have some fun with this guy...he will sure look nice in my little group. I do not have a dark-haired Hot Toys Clone headsculpt, but I do have a Hasbro Deluxe Jango. I will take a look at this guy. He may be old, but after a little paint update, he looks great IMO. But I did a photogrammetry scan of that head, which turned out great. Hmmm...options, maybe?

I was able to secure this few hours after it went live on SS. I missed out on the chrome troopers so I didn’t want the same mistake. Had a gut feeling so I PO with a payment plan at the very least. I have since then paid it off fully since SS original date was a typo for Q3-4 2023. I’m super excited. The main reason I got him was to pair with Sideshow’s prototype Fett, thought it’ll be cool to have an Yin Yang duo.

War of the Bounty Hunters was nothing more than a canon version of Shadows of the Empire. the story extended between the 4 different titles star wars ongoing, darth vader ongoing, bounty hunters ongoing and doctor aphra and then you had the actual 5 or 6 parts of the main story itself. your big spoiler is that the crimson dawn stole han's carbonite frozen body and was holding a private auction, jabba the hutt set it all up and wins the auction, darth vader shows up, all hell breaks loose and it's a tug of war to get han back, in the end, boba gets him back, vader kills the entire hutt clan for their betrayal and boba makes it know to jabba never to double cross him again. after that you learn a new arc begins known as crimson reign where the agents of crimson dawn are out to overthrow and destroy the empire along with vader and the emperor. sitting their saying, oh if only this was the boba we got in the disney plus is a point of muteness as book of boba fett takes place 5 or 6 years after return of the jedi, boba in the comics is after empire strikes back and before ROTJ. huge differences between the 2 of them as boba in BOBF is older now, he's wised up to things and survived death and is now doing things his own way and if you ever read the EU novels that is exactly what boba began to do once everyone found out he was still alive. he was trying to let go of the past and make a future better for others.
