I'm always glad to see people give love to Bond games other than Golden Eye or Nightfire. Whether or not the former aged will, almost ALL of the Bond games from Eurocom and EA are some of the best licensed games ever imo. And EA/Activision very clearly threw a lot of money behind them. Hell, they even managed to make *_Quantum of Solace_* into a good game. Which is absolutely the only good thing to come out of that movie.

@@laughingseal2282 It's just a shame Perfect Dark wasn't playable until 10 years after it came out. But yes, PD and Timesplitters are amazing games that took the groundwork of Goldeneye (ie realistic explorable environments with objective-based gameplay) and built upon it almost flawlessly. Granted, it took about 1 game for Timesplitters to figure itself out, but 2 and Future Perfect? **chef's kiss**

I 'member the days back when EA was a sign a game was gonna be awesome even if it was licensed or obscure, and not a sign that it was gonna be a dull corporate crap-fest with terrible predatory monetization and enough bugs to feed timone and pumba for life... 🥲 I remember putting DAYS into their Harry Potter and LotR games as a bab, not to mention MoH, C&C, Dead Space, Def Jam, SSX, NBA Street, NFS... and now I'm disgusted by the sight of their logo.

For one of the latest bond games during the PS3 and Xbox 360 era this was definitely a fun ride when they even brought back the actor that played jaws to be one of the villains fight against in this game and William Defoe played to the villain for 007 is even more icing on the cake.

Honestly, EA had a mostly solid run with the James Bond license, Like, this, Nightfire(of course), The World is Not Enough(especially the N64 version), Agent Under Fire(a bit clunky in the controls, but still good in other areas), From Russia With Love. Only real clunkers were Tomorrow Never DIes and Goldeneye Rouge Agent.
@warbossgegguz679
@warbossgegguz679 6 ай бұрын
And neither of those 2 were Eurocom or Visceral games, nor was the HD version of Quantum of Solace. They made the PS2 version, which is more akin to Bloodstone. The ONLY blemish on their record with Bond was 007 Legends. Yes, I liked the goldeneye remake and I'm not sorry about that. But yeah, anyone saying Nightfire and (more so) Goldeneye are the only good Bond games is on some next-level cope.

As a Christmas 2023 gift, I got to go up to my favorite retro game store (I had to wait over two years just to have a chance to go back up there), and 007 Everything Or Nothing was one of the games I picked up (among others, I really hit the jackpot with what I got from there). And admittedly, it has an interesting intro sequence if playing for the first time, after the logos and everything, the intro plays, and then immediately drops the player into the action, and after that, _then_ the title screen/opening credits, makes it feel like a more authentic Bond experience.

Every time I think about the EA I grew up with from the 6th to mid-7th generation vs. EA now, it just makes me extremely sad. Like, there was a time when EA was genuinely one of my favorite publishers, and now just seeing their logo gets me prepped for mediocrity and disappointment. The only studio they haven't completely ruined (yet) is Criterion. Not that the newest NFS was amazing, but it wasn't a complete POS like Battlefield.

this is without a doubt my favorite Bond game. Nightfire had the better 4 player multiplayer experience, but Everything or Nothing was the full package otherwise for me. It felt like Brosnan's 5th Bond movie. The stealth gameplay is the best it has ever been in a Bond game and it was refreshing to get away from the constant fps shooting of previous games. And the coop is still one of the best coop experiences from that generation, and honestly goes toe-to-toe with the games of today.
