This was the most helpful book my wife and I read when she was pregnant with our first child.
And it’s not this book! EVeryone knows about What to Expect when You’re Expecting, but it’s a little out of date, and the science and general advice has changed since it was published.
So this book provides a more up-to-date look on what to do and what’s safe and what isn’t while you’re pregnant or while your partner is pregnant, and has an extremely refreshing perspective that doesn’t make you terrified about every little thing.
We referred back to it all throughout pregnancy the first time, and these were the first notes I looked at when my wife was pregnant again.
