This bottle is my best hunting story to date. Went to the distillery with a friend who won the lottery right to buy. 2 months later I found it mislabeled at a local store for $99. I may have pulled something running out the door as fast as I did.

So I work at a fancy whiskey bar in Idaho and apparently there were 15 bottles of Four Roses 135th in the state! We were very lucky to have 2 bottles! The first bottle we opened (I was the first to try it) it was exceptional! The first bottle was gone in less than 3 weeks! When we opened our second bottle, a group of 5 ppl showed up at our bar just 30 mins before we closed and the man that was buying offered me a pour! He bought his family and myself a full pour of 135th! I cheers with them and I couldn't have been happier! Our second bottle is almost out! We have probably a quarter of it left! If you ever see a bottle, I implore you all to try that bourbon before it's gone! Four Roses fucking nailed it!!!

I had a pour of this at the four roses distillery on my 35th birthday and thought it was insanely good. At first I thought to myself, is it this good because it’s my birthday and I am here or is it really that good? And it had nothing to do with it being a bday celebration. It truly is remarkable whiskey.

In Germany is around 250 Euros. Four Roses makes some good whisky. I allways have on my shelf the FR Single Barrel 100 proof. Excelent pour!!!

I recently blinded this and the past 2 years releases. Ended up scoring them oldest best but I think it maybe is a result of difference oxidation levels/air exposure. They are all amazingly good.

Couldn’t agree more!!! I can never find them or afford them in secondary, no matter how reckless I get. I see them for like $1000…when I’m in Kentucky. I did spend several hundred dollars on pours at the distillery though. Even though I’m not a huge drinker if the standard offerings…the LE stuff is incredible. Sooooo jealous!

I just went to a four roses dinner event at a restaurant out here in Arizona… we got to compare the 2021,2022 and 2023 of that and the 2021 was the best of the 3.. 2023 was better than 2022..

I had a choice between this Four Roses LE and Blantons Gold last year. I went with the Blantons gold because I've never really had much Four Roses and while I find regular Blantons underwhelming I at least like it ok. Regretting that decision.

Also Dan, if you look at their website there is a statement of ages of whiskey put in. Not an explicit age statement on the bottle I know, but they do at least state that 12, 14, 16, 25 yo bourbons are in there

Like what do you mean specifics? They all work the same, whenever a channel does picks they drop from in order of the highest pledge tier to the lowest until sold out.

I have a bottle of this & can confirm. This is the best bottle I own & have tasted. I paid 240$ for it. The only whiskey that has blow my entire skirt up.

A localish bar had this as a break even bottle one night. I drove 30 minutes to try a one ounce pour of this for like $9. I then traded a Stagg plus a Jack toasted rye for a bottle. I’ll miss the Jack most because of how limited they were but I’ve got no buyers remorse.
