I think for the Lewitt, it's best to see a version 2. I bought it, mainly for podcast and zoom calls. It's not bad, but there's still some issues and stuff they have to fix before it's a super recommended product. I revert back to my Audient ID4 Mark II but sadly, the audient don't provide DSP so I can't do expander, EQ etc. But if you're using it just for music purposes. Then the Audient might be better. The Audient uses AKM DAC if memory serves, while most other budget interfaces uses ESS more obsolete DSP. In case stuff like this matters to you.

Could you possibly review some different mixer interfaces up to the Tascam 12. I am going to give my old budget interface and condenser microphone to a young protege, and want to add an affordable mixer/ interface into my setup…

High, I produce everything "in the box", I dont record audio, only VSTs instruments via usb keyboard and usb drum pad. Assuming that most of people (specially pop, electronic, rap/trap) will work at 44.100/24bit or 48.000/24bit, around 256 buffer size, "producing/mixing on the flow". What are the best options of audio interfaces in terms of RTL (round trip latency) Aiming for less than 10ms on those values? Or even, Do I need an interface? Cuz I saw the benchmarks and all audio interfaces will deliver around 12 to 14ms in 44.100/24bit and 256 buffer size. I have a RME Fireface UCX but I will probably sell it to upgrade from a 2011 mac mini to 2023 Mac Mini M2 Pro. Maybe I could get some interface max till U$299,00. I was thinking in one of these 3: Motu m4, Audient ID24 or SSL 2+.

The connect is beautiful but more for making content like your video's not for singing is what i mention to see. I like your video's and watch a lot, but which audio interface you can buy for multiple inputs. And is the volt 176 a better option then the volt 1? The 276 for the volt 2? And which one is better: the volt 276 or connect 6

If i plug microphones into the volt and plug the volt into the iphone, will the audio from the microphones be used when recording videos. Will it be used for going live on social media and what not. I want to make sure that I can record videos and livestream using the audi from the microphones plugged into the audi interface.

These are all decent interfaces. I recently had the Volt 1, but owned a Saffire Pro 24 DSP before that. What I ran into as my only real issue was the lack of individual control. What I mean by this is that Monitor 1/2 and Headphones all run in the same strip. Saffire Pro had Bus 1/2, 3/4 for monitor out, and Bus 5/6, 7/8 for headphones. Same with Input on individual busses. This meant that I could route everything exactly as wanted, having full control over instrument and headphone playback -- without affecting the monitor output signal. Especially when you use Pro Tools. It's just good practice being able to have it all routed properly. Yes, they're budget, but I wish they'd gone that extra mile. Direct Input is lackluster at best.

please tell me, I am facing the choice of an audio interface. My tasks are: streaming with an xlr studio dynamic microphone, voiceover, and listening to music with good headphones for a bit. I am interested in the audio interface where the best output sound quality and stable software are best. The price is up to $ 200. I am considering options: focusrite 2i2 4 gen, universal audio volt2 (there is also interest in 276, but it costs $ 270 already) and motu m2. In terms of accessibility, this is focusrite, judging by the reviews and especially because of the vintage sound, this is volt 2, but there are also many people who prefer motu. Well, a small addition, I considered the arturia minifuse 2 and Audient id4 mkll options, but judging by the reviews and the videos I watched, they have good sound, but not the best like these 3 models. Can you tell me which of these models would be best in your opinion and why?

Maybe a stupid question but does the audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo for example) make the music louder compared to the default computer settings? My Asus is not that loud unfortunately so I need something else to help with that. Thanks in advance!

I am VERY new in getting into the world of recording/production. I am a drummer and would like to start recording a bit of my own stuff. Play along with covers and stuff like that. I am curious to know what the best option for me would be as far as buying an audio interface that has enough inputs for drums and which DAW is easy to work with as I am a beginner. Is it worth getting a Presonus interface because it comes with Studio One as a package deal or am I better off to get another brand and get a cheaper DAW?

It's because under 100$ you can't find anything good, Most of them sound so noisy and dirty and their construction is all made out of plastic, the cables /sockets will break after a month or so, the least amount of money you should spend on a Audio interface is 200$

Audient ID 4, 14 mkii interfaces are industry recommended audio interfaces. They sound natural. No need of any high end coloured audio interfaces. Scarlet, M audio interfaces are also good.

These are super … but for a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, why not just use a small usb mixer? You’ll have usb, preamp multiple 1/4 inputs, stereo or mono xlr AND 1/4” out, 3 band EQ, gain and some digital fx control knobs right at your fingertips. (I like the Yamaha MX06-FX). I think they are competitive in price these days too. The only limiting item is 1 headphone out. But generally small mixers these days have great flexibility. -Perhaps these unit mentioned here, have better preamp sound quality? Anyway, let me know if I am missing something? Thx.

I am very sorry, you did not include a Solid state logic SSL2 and SSL2+ interfaces. I think, SSL2+ is the best audio interface of these all interfaces and costs near the same money (up to $300), so definitely the best interface in this low budget segment.

They make regular pc speakers that can cost over $1000, so why would you be surprised the low end budget for audio interface is $200? If that's too high for you, go grab a Logitech set and and call it a day. Definitely are on the wrong channel.
