I love the Razer Kaira X. The thick and plush cushions on the side just look so comfy. My current Turtle Beach Headset is broken. So whenever my friends are arguing, it sounds very one-sided.

Overall I would pick Corsair HS65 or the Razer Kaira X, but aesthetically the Logitech headsets are really appealing!

i’ve used hyperx clouds since 2014. i bought a pair of cloud 2s in 2017. like you said it would be nice if there was a volume wheel, mute button etc but otherwise they are a GREAT headset. super comfortable, great sound, and a very solid mic. zero complaints from me

When I head budget I run to the video My favourite is the hyper x clouds I’ve had them for over 4 years until they eventually broke on me (kids were a little rough with it) I’d buy one again in a heartbeat it’s price Is an absolute steal as the wireless ones are a little out of my price range and may I say THEY ARE STINKIN COSY!

I recommend taking a look at the newest revision of the HyperX Cloud II's made by HP. They aren't as good as the older model made by Kingston that you have there.

The Corsair HS65 mic sounds amazing, holy cow!

i think the one i want the most is the HS65s. they look like the most durable and comfortable headphones i have ever seen. i also really like how you described the sound of them and they have intrigued me. i currently play games with my pair of akg K240s and am worried about sound leakage while playing games when i go to college. i also like the design of the headphones but i would've preferred if the mic was detachable because i already own a mic. also heres a joke: there were three friends who became stranded on a deserted island and one of them found a magic lamp. the guy rubbed the lamp and out came a genie. the genie then said "thank you for freeing me. as thanks i will grant each one of you 1 wish". the first man said "i wish to go back home". the genie granted his wish the second man also said "i wish to go back home". the genie also granted his wish. the last man said"man i really wish my friends were here". and the genie granted his wish

Wow, I saw the 45-minute time stamp and went "whew!", but after some time considering it... I watched it all, all glorious 43 minutes and 7 seconds! For me, out of the list, I'd say the Corsair HS65's are my fav (and the HS80's for bonus pints, lol).

I used to own the Astros A40 loved them but too expensive. When I broke my Astros A40 I bought the HyperX Cloud II for $50 and wow the best headset i've had.

Great video. While it's not the new kid on the block, the EPOS GSP300 with a MSRP of $79 is an excellent option. I've been thru a lot of headsets, watched too many of your videos, and settled on this being my favorite headset under $80. (I'm also in love with my Razer Barracuda wireless, but it's above the price point).

Great List! I think blackshark v2 x quality price is unbeatable. Logitech g435 very interesting for being wireless, the razer barracuda x is now at 79.

HEY TECHNE! SteelSeries recently released their new flagship headsets, The "Arctis Nova Pro". Can you consider reviewing them or giving first impressions? I've been using the Arctis Pro's as my main for years. I would like to see if this new lineup is worth the upgrade.

Great video as always, if it's possible, it would be nice to have videos about every price range. My favorite one is defenitely the corsair hs65, it just looks so prenium for the price! Right now I have philips xh2r and don't get me wrong, it's amazing, but I had to get a hyperx solocast too so it cost me $300 Cad and I kind of regret not saving myself some money and getting something with a better bang for bucks. I will probably just wait until they break in like 4-5 years.

Corsair hs65, it seems like it has the best sound and mic combination out of these headsets, It also looks the best sitting on your beautiful bald head. Also love the videos, ive been watching for while and they have helped me pick almost every headset I’ve bought. It’s great to have a channel that does such detailed reviews on every headset that comes out.

The Techne the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is out. Looks amazing and great improvements. But I’ve looked into it and it’s seems like they’ve maybe taken a step back with the sound or at least kept it the same. Looks like same drivers, but on the old Pro Wireless you had a frequency response of 10Hz-40,000Hz. However, on the the new Nova Wireless it states 10Hz-40,000Hz only when wired and 10Hz-22,000Hz when wireless, plus they’ve increased the impedance to 38ohms. So all that combined makes me think the old Pro Wireless is still much louder, unless they’ve tuned the Nova to accommodate the loss of that frequency. The rest is all design and software improvements, which looks great. I’m more happy about them introducing a 10 band EQ on the dac instead of the old 5 band EQ. Looking forward to your review on this.

Hey, i probably gonna buy the razer blackshark but i have two questions about it. 1- What would you rank the blackshark v2 x compared to the other headsets in the video? 2- Do you think its worth it to buy the blackshark v2 (80€) or just to buy the v2x (50€)?

Ever since I bought my Virtuoso XTs, I've been dying to try out another Corsair headset so the HS65 would be my pick if I won. I haven't liked my hair for awhile, so I finally decided to shave it all off and be bald. I'm definitely pleased. I always trusted Techne's comfort recommendations, but I did think that if I go bald, I'll REALLY be able to trust them

I love the Logitech G435. I didn't want to get more than one pair of headphones. I like them so much because, I can use them for my computer and phone. I also love how they are wireless! Now I've just got to save up 😭

I love great sound quality, clarity, little bit of oomph from bass but also the band “comfiness” is a major contributor for me as despite having hair, sorry Techne 🧢, I feel the band tension on my head as I’m very sensitive for band pressure on my head especially over time it gets worse for me 😢😡

First of all thanks for making this videos, i really watch them all even if i'm not buying nothing at the moment! I saw a new video and i said "i'm gonna put it while I'm changing the earcups of my HS60" and man, i'm having a REALLY HARD TIME hahaahah. I know here's the HS65 but i think Corsair follow this kind of trend. For those who like to do some "wicked" customizations, idk if i can recommend the HS65. The Corsair HS series sound is absolutely amazing (i've had the 60 and 70) but if you guys like to change earcups, i've read/seen that the Cloud II are easier to change.

i wish they made kaira x with detachable mic i would have bought it in a heartbeat. as a streamer i already am using razer seiren mini so im prolli never gonna use the headset mic anyway. i really love the design if the kaira x for ps5. such a shame i am gonna get the mercury white baracuda x instead simply bec of the NON detachable mic on the kaira x :(

Gotta say turtle beach recon 500 by far the best for me, because it doesn't give the "gamer" look which can make me use it outside my house. If it really comes down to budget and performance gotta go with the blackshark v2 or the hs65...

i highly suggest you take a look at the Sennheiser HD660 S, i know you prefer closed back over open back headphones, but these are really something else, they have incredible bass for open backs, and the sound is absolutely perfect in every way, though thats personal opinion, another amazing thing with them is the sound imaging, im rarely able to pinpoint stuff ingame with sound alone but these i have zero issue with, ABSOLUTELY worth checking out, even with the price tag.

I really want to pick hyperX cloud 2 because every professional player I like uses it and I think its a really good headset, build quality, simple style,mic man I like everything about that if I have 80 dollars in my pocket I will buy it with no doubt

Out of these, the HyperX headset would be the one I would like to own (try) the most. The reason why I haven't bought it can be weird though. I have heard good things about HyperX headset, but their looks are being "copied" by many other brands too, such as Fanatic, Redragon, and even a very cheap brand you can see on eBay called MPow. This kind of gives me the feeling that they could all coming from the same OEM manufactures, and if they are, why pay more to get the HyperX over the other budget brands? But which one is my favourite? Out of these headsets I only own one of them - Logitech G435. And I will pick G435 as my favourite even I haven't tried the others. The biggest reason is functionality, it is the only wireless one out of the bunch. And it supports both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, I can use 2.4G for my PC & Bluetooth for my phone. Also G435 is very light and comfortable. The only thing to look out for is that G435 is a "small size" headset. With the headband adjustment set the max, I have the band touching my head and the bottom of the internal earcup touching the bottom of my ears too. I think Logitech targets it for kids and teenagers market hence it is kind of "small"? If the headband adjustment can be increased then it would be perfect. What I feel and heard about other headsets: - Razer Kaira X: All (non-flexible) plastic build worries me - Recon 200 Gen 2: The look really is not for me - Recon 500: White colour is good, but same reason the shape of Recon headsets is just not for me - G335: Wired version of G435? I will just get G435 - HS65: Looks very nice and comfortable, the mic might be the best one in the list. Would be my 1st pick for wired headset in this list

Man I kept going thru your videos this week, looking at headsets under 100 bucks, I'm literally about to buy the HS65 rn, then I decided to watch your review of it again, then I saw this video newly upload, watched it, I didn't saw arctis 3 which I'm choosing between HS65, now you just made my mind to go for HS65, hope I get the best out of my damn money. I like the HS65, but in white best for myself. I think either of the logitech sets would be good for my kid, cheaper, colorful, comfortable, and sounds good enough. What does a karate master get rewarded with while driving? A seat belt.

Thank you Techne. Was waiting for this video. I think am going to like the spicy Corsair HS65 - and not Kraken X (lol Kaira). Don’t have full hair so might be just right. My second pick is Kraken X (lol Kaira). I have V2X right now and is not comforting after 2 hrs of play time. So hoping HS65 does it. Also V2 X sound is just too much. I use discord a lot while gaming so HS65 mic is also awesome. Yes video was long but love the unscripted versions. So natural. Appreciated it. Also like your creativity in naming the chapters 😂. Can’t skip lol.

Actually the Turtle Beach Recon 500 is better than expected. It's on sales here in my country -25% off atm, so yeah it's been a good deal.

Just bought my own cloud IIs. Didn't come with a dac but It does have the volume wheel in the cable. Absolutely loving it. Also have a steelseries arctis one for Xbox, the pressure on my head with the steelseries is entertaining though and the cushions are so soft. Not sure what I'll go with next. Maybe another pair of steelseries or corsair. Speaking of which, I absolutely love the corsair HS65 and HS70. P.S My cloud II can remove the 3.5 cable and I can adjust the volume and mute the mic on the volume wheel that's on the cable. Also the mic is detachable too.
