No problem at all, you can connect the USB and the XLR at the same time.

@@FIFINE the USB connectivity is just for power, am I correct? Can I use on a usb charger (smartphone charger) instead of plugging it on a computer?

@@noctivagoth For sure no! It's a USB AND XLR mic, the USB is also for audio transmission. There's no point in using it with a power charger, you need a computer to get the internal sound card to work, and then you can use the mic with your phone. Besides, since you're using the XLR function, that means you have an external sound card, which should get an audio monitoring jack, is there any problem when using the headphone out on the external interface?
