I know that gameplay always comes first, but I also appreciate Alith Anar from a character and storytelling perspective. I felt like the Avatar of Karma as I picked apart the Druki, one settlement of amoral slavers at a time.

Real start at 1:04 Alith Anar is fun, it's like playing skaven in combat but high elves on the diplomacy front. I still have a fair amount to learn with high elves but I'll definitely give his campaign another shot.

Great Video as always. Suggestion for what it's worth. If you start running low on ideas for videos a "Meta" series would be awesome. WHII was ranged meta and now I hear your saying that's out and melee monsters is the "It" thing now. Maybe an overall video then race specific ones. Starting with the races that changed the most like all 3 elves. Even if you don't, I just want to thank you for putting out such great videos all the time. That Grom series taught me alot and I have had a blast eating my way across the world on a culinary journey.

Alith Anar has the best campaign and is the best character for campaign in the game

This is my joint favourite campaign along with Oxyotl. It's kinda cool that Alith Anar doesn't like the Ulthuan climate as it's an incentive to go travelling around the world while the AI builds up those provinces which they will end up handing over to the player eventually anyway out of sheer admiration for the Emo King.

While I love Alith Anar, I hate that his shadow walkers are so underwhelming. Oxyotl has a similar problem. The faction can't sustain what the lord does.That is a thing I always mod away. There is a mod that turns Alith Anar into a horde. That idea I love.

You need to update this. Cylostra takes the Black Forest in turn one. You cannot get there in time without the movement bug.

I'm surprised you haven't done a LP of this campaign. Even though I hate the high elves with a passion AA is the exception. His backstory really captivated me. Only thing I refuse to do is make a doom stack of shadow warriors, or just make a doom stack in general. It's just not appealing to me.

I hated this campaign. You always feel like you're getting majorly screwed without the queen and the chrome dlc

i got bored playing this one. He is too overpowered with ambush and stupid long range. Dark elfs are easy prey. Get old fast. And his voice is the worst part. I want to play Warhammer, not watch riverdale.
