IMO I think its a matte world. I just bought a new home and during my decor appointment I selected matte engineered hardwood flooring, matte white quartz counter tops, matte white cabinet doors, matte oak stair case, matte large tiles for the washrooms etc... What I am getting at is I would rather have a matte carbon or non carbon dash. Matte is the future, glossy is just not in style anymore. Perfect examples are Tesla changing the centre console in a matte finish for the Y/3 and Apple working their hardest every year to remove the glare from their gloxxy screens. Who's with me? Matte for the Win!!!!

Im sure in a sunny hot place like South Texas or AZ or NM driving around at noon, 1PM & 2PM the glare would be really really bad

Reviewed at the perfect time! I’ve also got the carbon fiber cap and been wanting a factory molded version! I have a glossy carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser, and wanted something to match with the same quality on the interior

Thanks for the video. Just purchased my model y and have been searching for all sorts of accessories. Everyone talks and the dash "cap"but no one mentions the wood door trim so I searched that too and came across your video. I like this better than all the others and will wait for the matte version. Do you have any other recommendations, thank you again.

The gloss CF reflects the light to much. My exterior C.F. is gloss, but all the interior is matte in my 3.

But the big question is - could you see out of your wing mirrors? Thats my biggest issue with the white dash and tinted windows. Renders the mirrors uselesss

They should think of doing this for the Model S LR. Carbon fiber dash only comes in the plaid. I have a LR on order and I will be replacing the wooden dash. I dont like wooden dash on anything.

Looks to me that the sun would have to be above you to get a glare that would hit you. Rarely do we get int that position.

Please do not use TMA PLUS products, they shipped damaged and fake products, nightmare to work with their customer server, they refuse any mistakes... What they ship you for Promotion is different from what they ship to regular customers... This is wrong and needs to be reported

yea the profit of that part must be around 75%! is crazy, it looks great but c'mon how much does a ABS PLU PC molded part cost? like $10 the price is crazy
