I own quite a few handguns, including Stacatto, Dan Wesson, CZ, etc. so I feel confident telling the world this SFX9 4" is at the top in all categories. For such tight tolerances, not one malfunction from round one. The optic ready 4" was $3k and worth the extra money over the C2s $2400 price. The C2 unfortunately gave me a few fte malfunctions in the first thousand rds. and a stovepipe every once in a long while so the extra dough for the WC goes a long way in my opinion. It’s the Indian not the arrow but the sfx9 really does everything to make sure you hit your mark. Thanks for the informative review, not many sfx9 vids out there, so keep ‘em comin.

Not surprised that you love it. I have one of the original X9’s. The only difference is mine has interchangeable grip panels so it looks really nice, but the SFX and SFT models are slightly thinner, which is a plus. I’ve put thousands of rounds through mine with not even a hint of a malfunction. For me, they point very natural and the accuracy is great. Easy to conceal while still having plenty of mag capacity. Wilson quality and craftsmanship is outstanding!

In regards to shape metal edges on your pistols, get a # 2 finger nail file it's as smooth as paper but doesn't scratch the finish of gun and the file is controllable so you can use on the areas of your choice.

I have about ~8k through mine. Also my daily carry. I've had a handful of failures to eject. Probably a combination of not cleaning and variability in ammo pressures. I've bought some cases of ammo through the pandemic that haven't seemed super consistent. I really don't like how high they set the irons. It's completely unnecessary to cover that much of the window up for back up irons. I find the grip texturing to not be aggressive enough, so I have a couple of ranger bands on mine, which gets them about how I'd prefer. I think it would be nice if they offered a more aggressive texturing option like how Nighthawk recently offered because their micropocket grip texturing was getting too many complaints for being too slick. No advice on the front sight sharpness. I know what you're talking about and agree it feels kind of weirdly sharp, but I use a kydex holster and don't really have that issue. Other than that I'm pretty happy with mine

You can use 1000-1200 grit sandpaper and it wont change the shape but it will polish it and smooth it. I use it on rails and any parts that touch I mean to give you an idea I turned stainless steel ax into something that looks like chrome. I use it on every gun before I shoot it. I make sure to hit the disconnect, the rails the inside of the slide the barrel bushing the barrel if you see scratches...polish there where ever there are scratches. Its just polishes it makes it feel like glass just smooth. black it in with a sharpie and call it good...jk jk. Recoat it...np.

I have zero doubts that it's a fantastic pistol, and it better be for how much it costs. Im glad for you guys that can edc something like that but imagine the heartbreak of it going to the evidence locker if you should ever have to use it!

Is that optic cut for RMR or RMRcc? Also, is there an optic plate if you decide to remove the RMR?

Just bought an sfx9. 2nd and 3rd trips to the range and have failure to feed on both trips 9mm ball ammo jammed while feeding. Guns too expensive for this kind of problem. EDC is still my SIG 365 9mm. Very disappointed in Wilson Combat, could have bought 5 firearms for the cost of 1.

Possibly best carry of all time, Adam had this gun in his mind when he designed that ares

What barrel length Is this gun that you have? I’m considering a 3.25 inch sub compact with the magazine grip extensions

Sand it down 😮. That optic has been put on to maintain a true ZERO at all times. Leave it alone.

Finish on mine is dog @#$%. Tons of wear for no reason.
