Found this gem on the back of the flour bag. It’s delicious. The best the recipe I’ve used so far for chocolate chip cookies. Is highly recommend trying it out 😊
Recipe:
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1/4 cup All Vegatble shortening
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cups semi sweet mini chocolate chips.
(I just used as much of the chocolate chip pieces I wanted)
Directions:
• Heat oven to 375 degrees.
• Beat brown sugar, butter, shortening, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
• Beat in 1 large egg until blended.
•Stir flour, salt, and baking soda into a medium bowl. Gradually beat into creamed mixture until blended.
• Stir in Chocolate Chips.
•Drop by rounded Tablespoons 3 inchesapart in baking seet.
Bake 8-10 mins fo CHEWY. 11-13 minutes for CRISP cookies.
• Cool for 2 minutes.
