i tried these and they turned out amazing!! the brown butter was definitely worth it. how ever i would have a problem with baking them because they would turn out flat and burn from the bottom. so to fix that i chilled my dough and when its time to bake i let it thaw while my oven is preheating and then i used a light coloured tray to bake cookies instead of the black one i was usimg before. NOW THEY ARE DELICIOUSSSS! how ever they dont look like hers but theytaste realllyyyy goodddd

Hey, I've got your single serve chocolate chip cookie recipe off the net and have followed it (minus using the egg yolk and granulated sugar, I'm assuming that's white sugar? I live in New Zealand) and I can't seem to get them right. The finished result seems way too liquidy to be cookie to, zero chance of moulding it in my hands lol. Help? 😬

I noticed when a cookie is so hard and dry you have to dip them into milk but not these cookies, these cookies look so good dipping them in milk will ruin the taste, texture and flavor

The thing is, when you make brown butter, you lose some of the liquid… Did you substitute the loss with anything?

The underlying batter is intriguing, but the “best” chocolate shard cookies [hand cut shards of deluxe chocolate is better than “chips” or “morsels”] … must contain walnuts & pecans & slices of dried dates - the latter ingredient, when baked, look like little circles, or little inner tubes. No chocolate shard/chip cookie can ever be the “best” without nuts‼️ & date rings … or possibly other dried fruit … really exalt the cookies‼️6/26/23

😅if you’re not chilling your cookies for at least 1 day, 2-3 is best, they will NOT be the best they can be. Try it.

I put my cookies in the oven on the same tray I used to refrigerate them. I guess it was too cold for them to flatten. Maybe this happened to you as well?
