Which one to choose?? When you have the time, it would be great to do a more in-depth video about concealers, listing which is better for different age ranges, skin types, levels of coverage, etc. Your knowledge and experience are immense, but I'm not sure I'd have a clue which one to choose. I'd happily spend good money to buy one of them, but it's so hard to know which one. I'm sorry that you're going through a stressful time, but just try and remind yourself 'This too shall pass.' I love your videos but I would love for you to do a series for mature skin like 50+ women!! I don’t really where makeup much anymore because it seems like it sinks into my wrinkles & fine lines which makes me look older instead of better!! I also hate spending over 10-15 minutes just doing my face & I have fibromyalgia so my arms hurt holding them up for more than a few minutes! 😔 I do use a cream/oil moisturizer on my face that I made because I didn’t want any chemicals put on my face before bed! I use vitamin E oil, grape seed oil, black castor oil & coconut oil (all organic except the E), mix it well in a glass container (old store moisturizer jar) & keep it in the fridge!! I love it & it doesn’t make my face feel greasy plus I know exactly what is in it!!!

I'm 52 i use Nars Creamy Concealer. Got it colour matched first time in their flagship shop which has natural light. I use a fluffy eyeshadow blender brush for it, so as not to drag the skin. I don't set with powder, it doesn't seem to need it. Xx

My top 3 concealers fo this year: hourglass for full coverage, never go wrong with this! Mufe hd skin concealer, my new favourite! Light consistency but still give a coverage for ‘no makeup’ makeup day. Givenchy skin caring concealer, everytime I use this concealer for spot conceal & undereye, people always asking “ur skin so hydrated, what’s ur skincare”

hugs- hope you feel better soon since you said you are very stressed. take time to center and de-stress yourself. I like to do a quick breathing exercise to come back to neutral which is two inhales in then one long exhale out. Do it a couple times and feel the zen. take care! Thanks for your videos! One day I'll find the right concealer for me. I'm so bad at choosing colors LOL

Any recommendation for best concealer for people like me with really deep under eye hollows and purple dark circles, and struggles with creasing and accentuates the wrinkles? Please if anyone can recommend both a concealer and setting powder for this?

@Winter_Dream use a color correction before concealer. Depending on your skin tone and color of your under eye area: purplish - yellow corrector blueish - orange corrector greenish - red corrector I use cream blush (stick) on my eye circles, cause most "color corrector" for under eye shadows are light pink and they don't cover a tiny bit (at least not on very dark under eye area). That's why I bought a blush stick in a colour suitable for me. Lipstick would be possible as well. Then use concealer over it. It may takes 2 shades, 1 matching your skin and a 2nd in a lighter color to use for the very dark crease under your eyes. I personally prefer foundation and I use it over the color correction, working it into the skin with a brush by circling motions. Translucent pressed powder on top, slightly dabbing with a soft powder brush and that's it for me.

I am also an entrepreneur and literally lie awake at night from the stress. 2 year ago COVID hit my 15 year jewelry design business. So I had to pivot and turn to my other passion Pilates. Trying to hire 30 people for a new concept in the industry of prevention is a tough sell. We are not alone with th the struggle of creating a passion that literally can make one loopy! Ugh! Good choices there Wayne, could you do an alternate video recommending which one's are suitable for more mature skin as opposed to young skin pls? I'm 57 & I use concealer for the inner eye sockets, just to cancel out that awful blue/purple we get with age recession, but a lot of concealers are heavy & chalky or pill with my eye cream. I'd be very grateful..thank you

You may need a colour corrector under the concealer. I find this brings an evenness to my skin.

Thanks Wayne, solid great advice as always. 👍🏼 BTW, I think I found an alternative to the Jones Road concealer stick. I’m not sure if it’s a dupe but it certainly performs very well. It’s the L’Oreal True Match Le Crayon Concealer. It has amazing coverage for spot correcting and fantastic coverage.

I am loving the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam hydrating concealer for my more mature skin. It’s the best concealer I have used yet! Prior to finding the ND, the NYX Bear with me Serum Concealer was my go to. It’s still a really great option but I’m loving the ND Hy-Glam 😊

Agreed Aleigha.. recently discovered Natasha Denona ( Sephora AU$49) and have one in each bathroom makeup cabinet. Literally need 2 taps of the brush tip to cover my undereye.. also tackle hydration with coconut oil as a moisturiser

@@user-ew8fb5bs8g it really is top notch and better than anything else I’ve tried. And YES you don’t need much at all to cover AND brighten under the eyes. I say it’s worth every penny 😊 I have also heard coconut oil is a fantastic option for hydration. I use camellia seed oil on my dry skin (I have dry skin over most of my face due to medications I have to take) at night as a last step in my skincare routine a couple times per week. I slather it on so I look like a greasy mess but omg my skin is soft and smooth in the morning

Mac pro longwear is the best i dont care if i cant get the last bit out its sanitary not dirty doe tip. will always love mac never stop making!! I mix nc42 and nw35 and it is perfect!!! Tiny bit for the whole face.

I still swear by Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer. Have used it for years as it covers well, is pretty invisible on the skin and matches my cool undertone perfectly - it's not orangey or too pink.

My favorites this year: Haus Labs, Natasha Denona, Makeup By Mario, Tom Ford Traceless stick, Saie, and NYX Serum. I have lots of others including Rare Beauty, Huda, Lancome, RMS, Hourglass, Fenty, Dior Backstage, Pat McGrath and several drugstore concealers. But my favorites have beat out the others by far. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect concealer for under my eyes. I do have two favorite concealers for spot concealing on my face, particularly blemishes: NARS Soft Matte and Bare Minerals powder concealer (I do wish it came in a fair/light color as the lightest is warm toned and more suitable for medium skin tones). And I have one corrector concealer which is the Charlotte Tilbury.

The ND concealer is creamy, thin consistency, has a luminous finish, and medium coverage. The Haus Lab is thick, matte, and is full coverage. MBM concealer is a luminous finish, medium coverage, and a thin consistency. I use the one I want to go with the foundation I'm using that day.@@Amna-wh2kp

Loving these quick videos! I have struggled the past year with concealers and color correctors. Dealing with severe dryness under my eyes and dark hollows. In one of your videos, you recommended the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base Primer & Moisturizer so I bought it. The secret I have found is to use a VERY small amount and make sure it has absorbed before applying anything over it (I kept using less and less until I figured out the amount that worked). I have tried so many concealers and color correctors but have finally found a combination that works for me. The Bobbi Brown Corrector Stick is so creamy, blends so effortlessly and the color bisque really does an awesome job of masking my hollows so much better than the peach color correctors I had tried before. I apply a very small amount of the Tarte Extra Creamy Shapetape in the corners and press in with my finger then finish blending with the baby beauty blender I just discovered existed (great for blending around the nose, eyes, etc.). I make sure there is no creasing before I apply the Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under Eye Powder with a soft makeup brush. This powder works far better under my eyes than any other I have tried and I have tried alot of different ones.

Deeleo, sorted my under eye dryness for me was using coconut oil as moisturiser.. regular coconut oil ( in glass jar) . Instantly sorted my dry under eye issue after recommended by a friend ( ex make up artist) .. if ur hesitant to use all over your face as moisturiser- just use a dab under your eyes. You simply need a wee finger tip scoop for face or small tip under the eyes… i also am mindful of drinking 2ltrs water daily - good luck ( im 53)

Wayne, can you please advise how to cover a birthmark portwine stain so very purplish/red on my cheek, and I have very pale porcelain color skin with freckles and dark brown hair. I have never been able to get complete coverage of the birthmark and don't know what color correct/conceal to use. I work 16hr shifts so need something that lasts and wears well. A concealer and full coverage foundation suggestion would be much appreciated ❤

I have been looking for years for a replacement for the discontinued Vichy Normaderm stick concealer (GREAT for acne-prone skin, my skin seemed to be better for using it :O ) ... nothing so far has come close :( any ideas? Lancome has similar fabulous blendability, but not the acne-fighting ingredients. Payot has the acne-fighting ingredients but is appallingly unblendable, so hard work to use :O

I think you’re amazing, but this video isn’t very helpful. You just list like 20 different concealer’s… I’d like to have your top one or two. Maybe one for dry skin and one for oily or one for younger and one for more mature.
