Okay, I know that this is an older review from you but helpful nonetheless. I purchased two bottles of Amber Oud Carbon and I am so glad that I did! I received the package this morning, unboxed it, and made it my scent of the day. I needed to make a run to the grocery store. While walking through the store, I received three compliments in less than 20 minutes. Great smelling stuff.

Glad to see this review. The other reviewer that I saw was too much of a fanboy to give an open-minded review of this fragrance. I’m definitely not saying that he should want to replace the OG with this clone, but for the purpose of reviewing for people who are on a budget, it would have been nice to see him review Carbon from that standpoint. I own a 1991 bottle of green Irish tweed, and the closest to that original in terms of smell is definitely parfum vintage Emerald Isle it’s really really close

I love my Carbon Edition. I like the boxes as they protect the fragrance from horrible delivery people out there. As per the bottle size, they did make the 120ml for the Gold Edition

I'm really surprised you didn't even mention the original Raghba for man as I find that one to be a pretty decent alternative, especially for the price. That being said I still enjoy 'Tres Nuit' as the best 'bang for your buck' and that still smells nice and performs decent. That line from Al Haramain is definitely a high(er) quality but I believe it's a bit overhyped which led them to be overpriced as well.

2 Other middle eastern clones of C:GIT are Rasasi Egra (cheap, it's ok and Al Haramain L'Aventure Knight.

I just feel like it's opening is extremely strong. Yes it's decent. I like tres nuit by armaf much better for the scent especially initially but carbon is definitely strong!

Based on one of your videos, I bought the al haramain " l'aventure" that's supposedly a creed aventus clone. Which maybe it is, but I never smelled aventus yet. But the clone smells just ok.

My recommendation is to do a search if you see a video of a fragrance you like ... watch multiple reviews. Different people may have different opinions and it may work differently on different people's skin chemistry.

Usually I trust your reviews and don't get disappointed, I blind buy a lot of perfumes with your directing. However this one is not even close to green irish tweed. It's a lot more alike to cool water, I don't recognize the green in it.

Hard to believe that anything replaces Tres Nuit in terms of value for your dollar as far as Green Irish Tweed clones go. 20 to 25 bucks, amazing longevity, and really close on the smell.

Maybe it is just my nose but man all I smell is overly metallic burnt rubber opening that singes the nose hairs and even aired out this carbon edition is the worst offering in the line. The tobacco edition and gold extreme edition are fantastic but this one is just nauseating this one is just a major dud. Great amount of respect to you my friend and I very much appreciate all the reviews you put out there for the community.

The regular Amber Oud (not Tobacco, Ruby, Rouge, Gold, Carbon, Exclusif Sport, Exclusif Emerald, etc.) is a clone of the blue beast, Amouage Interlude Man.
