I know this is a very old video, but what interfacing are you using? How can I find this kind of interfacing? I ripped my favorite jeans in a similar fashion to this and I would love to do a similar repair.

La vaselina es un adhesivo, tejido térmico o relleno que se utiliza para forrar trajes de hombre. Los nombres difieren en diferentes países. Está hecho de algodón y parece tela. Es mejor comprar y usar un material suave, y al pegarlo debe calentarse bien. Puedes comprarlo en tiendas que venden artículos de mercería, cordeles y botones. Siempre está presente en estos lugares. Mis mejores deseos y éxito :) 🌹🌹💖

Very neat and invisible mend. Probably best for adult, non-work wear jeans. In my experience with child's clothes or adults that work on their knees,a sturdier mend would be needed. Yes?

I believe it goes by various names. Ask your haberdasher for adhesive backing fabric. One side is heat-activated for adhesion to the repaired area. I think it's usually a vinyl fabric.

Vaseline is an adhesive, thermal fabric or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ in different countries. It is made of cotton and looks like fabric. It is better to buy and use a soft material, and when gluing it should be well heated. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, twine, and buttons. It is always present in these places. La vaselina è un tessuto adesivo, termico o riempitivo utilizzato per foderare abiti da uomo. I nomi differiscono nei diversi paesi. È fatto di cotone e sembra tessuto. È meglio acquistare e utilizzare un materiale morbido e durante l'incollaggio dovrebbe essere ben riscaldato. Puoi acquistarlo nei negozi che vendono merceria, spago e bottoni. You can not say "verdomde" in Dutch language. Please change that. It means "doomed" and it's rude language. 'Vervelende' is better.

I came to an insight about this "darn" word: it's interesting😊: Darn has a double meaning: First is 'to darn' which comes from: How to darn your clothes. That is the Verb: To darn. To mend, to repair. Example: my sister is darning a sock. (She fixing a hole in the sock.) And what went wrong in this case is that the word 'darn' is also another word for "damned" and that translates to the Dutch "verdomd". Very funny in retrospect! But you better not use the word 'darn'. It might translate to "damned" in other languages too! Better use 'Repair' or 'Mend'.
