Hey all it's PotatoDeathslinger here I hope you're well!!
In todays video we are playing Deathslinger and showing off my favourite build for him!
Make sure you get that first hit in if possible, then use your gun to bring them back and down them extremely fast!!
Deathslinger has insane anti loop but weak map pressure, so try and secure a 3 gen and end chases quickly!!

As a Deathslinger Main myself, never really liked using STBFL, but great video and execution of the build. I will say tho StealthSlinger is still extremely viable despite his nerf. I’m actually editing a video on it now as I make a lot of Deathslinger content and various builds that fit all his add-ons, as they’re all good with the right build. Would love for you to check it out when I post, test it out, and give me your thoughts. Good stuff Legion. 👌🏻

Been wanting to main Death slinger myself and I've never heard anyone not using or even considering STBFL. What perk or combo would say is essential if not STBFL? I spent 4 agonizing days trying to get that perk to Tier 2 and almost have every perk in the game on him now so I'm like what you mean no STBFL 😂

@@HatCreature I’ve never ran STBFL as a regular perk tbh. Never liked how Slinger loses stacks as fast as he gains them. But I have multiple different builds I run. I have a 3 versions of Gen Slow Down, a Legion Heal Slow Down Build, Two Versions of a Stealth Build and even a few meme builds. There are many different builds I run. But I actually have the video of my main build on my channel. Not to self promote, but you’re welcome to check it out, ironically titled “Slingers Best Build?” As as I told PotatoeLegion, my other builds aforementioned I am going to be releasing soon as well. Because I’ve had many slinger mains reach out to me asking the same question as you. So I love to show off other effective builds.

Funny story- Not too long ago, I subscribed to your channel and looked through your Best Build playlist. I was disappointed when I didn't see you have one on my personal favorite Killers- The Deathslinger. So imagine my surprise just an hour later this video was uploaded. That was cool. I like the idea of the grim reaper with a gun and his chase music is my favorite. Thanks for showing off how dangerous he can be. Always enjoy watching a guy bring a speargun to a flashlight and medkit fight.

The faster ads movement speed is nice when you have survivors that serpentine when you aim. You catch up pretty quick and get a free hit.

as a deathslinger main i strongly agree with corrupt and stbfl as a core perks on him. personally i dont feel like bbq helps me a lot. so i rather go for pop and call of brien as it helps me punish those gens.

One Twitch chat commenter asked what perk is 1# for Trickster. I would say Iron Maiden, because even if you hit or miss your throws, you still reload MUCH faster. Same for Huntress, so much faster that you can even reload mid-chase if you need to.

No plaything? It's def one of the best perks on him. Giving him back his stealth that he lost from the nerf is insanely good. DMS + Scourge is also really good on him with an aura reading perk like BBQ to help him find someone to go after

Just a suggestion since I ran this perk and had great success as Slinger, but instead of Surge/Jolt since it doesn’t proc all the time, you can replace it with Grim Embrace, it basically gives you so much blocked gen time paired with Corrupt when you reach the 4th hook

What I love to do when I have Save the best for last at 8 stacks is - hook obsession and let them break free... They are injured, they have to mend and you don't lose any stacks :)

There are so many tiny gaps in walls and loops slinger can shoot through it’s insane, there’s one my the pallet and window on the meat tree on cold wind that makes that whole tile unsafe against him

i think a good build for deathslinger would be: monitor and abuse, for that minus 8 meter terror radius and wider fov stbfl, because wiping blood off of your gun shouldn't be a priority. play with your food, because you get that very significant speed boost on him... dont know if this is good but you can try. and then finally, either a gen regressing perk, an perk to see survivors' auras, or some random silly perk you'd like. and with that whiskey add-on you would have a relatively small terror radius of 16 meters. that makes him a pretty stealthy gunman.

Legit question - Does Jolt really need that long of a cool down? 8% regression isn't really that much when you really think about it and most of the time you aren't going to find yourself around a hook and gen that will capitalize on it.

This is my exact build as a slinger main who loves BBQ, although BBQ prevents it from being the *best* build. Also NOED does the same thing as STBFL but better ^_^

He can. I run a stealth build regularly that drops my TR down to 12 Meters. Old Slinger use to get down to 4 meters. But its still highly effective.
