Lemme preach my Dazzler rework once again! Dazzler: 4/3 Ongoing: +3 for each location you have filled. This way she gets to 12 instead of 10, but only at a FULL board. 2 locations would get her to 9 which is fair, that’s 7 other cards to get her to a 4/9. At 1 full location she’s barely meeting curve as a 4/6 and if you can’t fill even a single lane she’s a measly 4/3

The idea of buffing dazzler for each individual lane you have filled would be great, if they add an animation for each time they are filled too with the rework it’d be almost perfect

I’d also like to point out that the 3 power intervals work really well 4/3 is a whiff, a Shang that got blocked, a Ghost Rider that pulls nothing, and an Absorbing Man that lost its target 4/6 is literally just curve. This is almost guaranteed if you intend to put her into a deck so this is almost her baseline unless… you whiff. 4/9 only really has Thing on a technicality but this puts her next to Crossbones, Typhoid, an accurate Drax, and Sentry who have relatively harsh downsides each and typically have to be played around. Again, filling 2 lanes isn’t “easy” but it’s probable. I guess this makes her a Drac that ate Chavez. If 4/9 puts her against a Chavez powered Drac, 4/12 is the Drac that are an unboosted Apoc or Hulk. You completed the mission so here’s your reward, A HULK

I like that design but it might be overtuned. If they want the exact same "off" and "on" stat lines Dazzler currently has, it could be a 4/4 with Ongoing: +2 power for each lane you have full.

@@JeremyHoffman dealing with her “quest” is more difficult than working around The Void or Typhoid’s -1 across your board. I aimed to make her 9 at 2 locations to make her vulnerable too. If you have 2 locations full she’s a sitting target for a Shang where with 4+2 she’s only able to be dealt with after the board is full (usually on 6) Plus minus Ultron who’s fallen off it’s not exactly the easiest thing to just fill every location so 12 more than seems reasonable. 12 is Darkhawk after playing Rockslide and either Black Widow or Korg

Everyone, let's agree. In the Proving Grounds, we snap on turn one every time and make that an 8-cube round right away. No one needs to grind for 20 minutes on a match in the Proving Grounds.

While talking about great animations and designs, I recently discovered Kraven's unique design. When you put a card on the board at Kraven's location and then remove the card from that location, Kraven's eyes light up and follow the card as you move it around. I think it's amazing that such a small detail can give so much character to a card. And I don't know if many people know about this because it happens in such a rare situation. So if you didn't know, now you know :)

the reason that super skrull has the F4 abilities is because in the comics there is THE super skrull, who has all of the F4 abilities, and then in more recent comics (last decade or so), that’s been changed so that a super skrull is a skrull that can take the abilities of other heroes, but the original super skrull is still his own character. normal skrulls can only take the appearance of others, but cannot be detected by any means

I'd really like to see Angel buffed in a way that introduced Archangel into. Maybe he functions a bit like Snowguard (but not terrible), where he swaps between two abilities, one to help your cards at the location and the other that hurts your opponents cards at the location. Or it could be something where when Angel is destroyed, Archangel appears in your hand.

I feel like a good way to rework nick fury is to keep him a 5-7 or change him to a 5-8 and have him invisible until the end of the game. They can make a sound to let the opponent know he’s there but you won’t know which lane exactly.

One thing I really want, a lot. To for example Doctor Doom, Squirrel girl and like Mister Sinister have a matching cards with the released by their ability. I would love my Pixel green-fart Mysterio to have a matching pixel clones. This als applies to Brood nad his broodlings.

I know some content creators think High Evo decks are brainless to run, but I think there is plenty of strategy to use if you want to play it right. I will say it has brought me a ton of success at the end of last season into this new one. I think it is super fun and I love being able to pull off surprises against people, even though they clearly can see what I am playing.

Mantis is an empath, so what if they changed her ability such that she still has the guardian effect, but if you land it, you get the daredevil effect on the next turn. Hard to say if that’s actually any better, but it feels fun

I think they should embrace ‘everybody gets one’ for spiderman. Maybe he thwips something back if it gets destroyed/discarded/moved by an opponent.

DD: for card design in relation to lore. you should have mentioned my most favorite Marvel character, Daredevil. he is Marvel's Batman (only poor, and a ninja swashbuckler instead of a detective). Daredevil is a fantastic combatant because of his awesome read of the battle situation much like what the card does in Snap.

Two rework ideas for Nick Fury and Mantis. Nick Fury, reduce to 4-cost, and change the ability to be "add a 5-cost and 6-cost card to your hand". This would make Nick Fury more similar to Agent Collson and the other shield members, and make the tempo feel better. Instead of there being the choice of Nick Fury or Devil Dino, it would be Nick vs. White Queen. This also sets Fury up well for conquest. For Mantis, I have a complicated idea that warrants increasing to a 2-cost. Keep the existing ability, but if you miss, and only if you miss, you get to see the cards your opponent plays next turn. Makes her not feel bad if you miss, but it's a cost if you hit. To keep Daredevil viable, there might need to be some power changes, but this would make mantis interesting.

for mantis...change her cost but change her ability: if your opponent plays a card here the same turn, play a card from your opponents hand/deck on your side :D

Yeah Spidey needs to change. When you think about him thematically, what can he do? He is really strong He swings around with his webs He has spidey sense And he would literally sacrifice himself for his friends. What if his ability was to prevent 1 destruction on your side of the board (doesnt have to be the same lane) and destroy itself instead? Something like that. He sees it coming with his spidey sense, he swings infront of the targeted card and then takes the hit. Maybe he doesn't die himself but perhaps gets weakened. Obviously needs to have a look at his power/cost as 5 cost for preventing 1 death is most likely too high. But I kinda see it work. The animations of that can be really cool as well

Speaking on the proposed Magik buff. Invisible Woman cards don’t flip until the game ends therefore I don’t think Magik would add the turn 7 since the game has ended the cards are just revealing. That’s just my take

Dazzler has a simple fix: 4/10, ongoing: -2 Power for each location you do not have 4 cards. Makes both Dazzler and Sauron more meta.

Two awesome characters that NEED a buff are Angel and Punisher. Dazzler works NOTHING like her sound/light power in the comics. She should be more offensive, but low cost

A deck that’s had some surprising results for me has been Thanos Control. I tweaked it and dropped Titania, Hood & Viper because those felt inconsistent for me and started using Kazar, Nebula and Carnage in their place and finding good success. Still testing and tweaking but the Thanos Control lists on Untapped are a good starting place. The original version can be very strong, but I found myself having games where I just couldn’t utilize Titania & Viper how I wanted.

I think I've found the perfect way to fix spidey Spider man:4-4 The first time this cards moves your opponent can't play cards at this location next turn It fixes the Galactus issue, makes him fit in with the other cards releasing and high evo players now must swap a card in their deck for someone like Iron Fist

Call me crazy, but I think Dazzler is fine the way it is and I think is a pretty good card. I hit Infinite for the first time recently using a Patriot deck with Dazzler. It's awesome how her power only reaches its max in the end of the game. Dazzler ends up being like a lesser Dracula. For Nick Fury, I think it would be interesting if he always gave us Iron Man, Hulk, Capt. America and Thor to use on turn 6. For Discard, I think Moon Knight is such a better option than Sword Master. Both will discard a random card from your hand, but I think discarding an opponent card too is a lot more valuable than +3 power in one location. I use Moon Knight on my Discard deck and got immediate wins because it discarded Galactus, Knull and other big cards.

I have got Magik as a key part of a 60% win rate deck, so I don't think she necessarily needs a buff, but the suggested improvement with Invisible Woman / Dark Dimension would be great.

I actually play my Ultron deck with Dazzler in it and there’s never really a reason to play her. The only time she really gets played is if there’s Limbo or the other person plays Magik. I did have one cool game where I actually was able to win by playing Mystique/Dazzler on turn 6, but that was 1 whole time.

As a nasty Galactus player already in infinite I swear I didn’t see that much move in the first week, maybe in conquest things will change but I maybe played 50 games (aggressive snapper) for infinite and saw maybe 4 move decks

For a perfect thematic card I have to give it up to Morph. He can literally turn into anyone or anything, but he's all laughs. In the most serious of times (Age of Apocalypse) he can do nothing but crack jokes. Therefore, it's so fitting that he's not much more than a meme card good for some laughs, but every once in a while he saves the day!

Spider-mans ability in Snap is too obvious when thinking of abilities to play with. What makes him one of the most unique and surprisingly more powerful characters his spider-sense. He defeated the X-men because of it. If there was a way to play into that would be fun. OR have him "WEB THROW" (another famous SM move) an enemy card to a specific location since Stegron goes random. OR lol, play with the move where he shoots everyone in the eye with webbing. Maybe web 3 random cards across all locations those cards get -1 power or something. That would be fun.

Hit infinite with a Ghost Rider/Moon Knight package in your normal discard deck. The amount of times MK disrupted everything my opponent was wanting to do was staggering. Don’t sleep on that package instead of the Storm situation. Too many lanes get locked down when you’re playing against all these board control decks.

I think Absorbing Man and Taskmaster need to switch abilities for me to make sense. Absorbing man becomes as tough as the material he absorbs or in this case it would be cards. On the other hand, Taskmaster is well known to copy other peoples skills so he should be the one to copy the card.

It sounds more than broken but spiderman could be much more than this and I know it would be broken in anyway. It could spidersense an opponent's move, it is a hero and a savior so it could grab a card about to be destroyed and send it somewhere else, he can become parker to take a nice little gander at locations or hand with camera😂 I know I'm crazy but spidey could be a multitasker in this game

Because the defining trait of Mantis is her empathic ability giving her control over her antagonists (hell, even her protagonists in the movies), it'd be really cool if she took control of an opposing card at the same location, rather than just drawing a card.

I do wish they reworked Spiderman. I love the character(s) but I loathe the effect in game and to me it's anti thematic (ludo narrative dissonance). Typically Spiderman webs together the villains or uses their webs to hold together a boat or slow down a train or hold up a bus. In any case, pulling things toward them (or swinging around, but Silk exists). Thusly, having their STICKY webs keep people out, rather than stick them in doesn't make sense. Shazzanna suggestion on a custom card (I thought of it later for Spiderman): On Reveal: Move a card from each adjacent location to this location. 1. Thematic: It would need some more animation but using both arms to drag and web up the cards. 2. Synergistic: Enables Miles and makes it easier to beat the other lanes with the difficult of placing power with 'Move'. Play him on the right and Heimdall becomes easier. 3. Fun gameplay: Completely removes the toxic Galactus problem. If you still want to include them he would have a similar impact to Doc Ock, forcing power into one location.

Might just be me but I don't feel like The Winter Soldier is powerful enough for how often you draw bucky but not a destroy option. Maybe if Bucky was a 1 cost that becomes a 2 Cost as Winter Soldier so he at least works with Killmonger and is dependable power? Maybe thats asking too much, given Sera Control would likely drop Nova for Bucky if it was a 1 cost.

Awesome video I actually met Goku this weekend(voice actor English) he’s really invested to his character!!! He said he favorite park was instant transmission kamehaha!!! I think Nice Fury should be a 5/2 that gives you a random 6-cost that costs 0. We all know from the Raft that this would be strong but unreliable, and it would have fun synergies with Wong and just be really fun to play, letting you get off weird combos.

I also think magneto and professor x are perfect in thier powers and how they interact with other cards and fight each other. The only problem is that magneto should somehow interact with colossus and wolverine.

I wish they would return the chase to infinite to where it was at least before they moved it to only needing seven ranks to level up. Excuse me 4, i mean That would kill a lot of Galactus that's right there. And it's original state when it was 100 cubed to level up, who wanted to play Galactus every game knowing you're only going to get the little you do most of the time. And the fact that there's no real deck variety anymore that you have to face should be a concern. It used to be fun watching players play different types of decks but now they won't even attempt to try something different when they get up to 70 and 80. It's always the same decks over and over again. And one more thing people need to quit calling getting to infinite a grind. I went 50 ranks in 4 days from 23 to 73. And I did it playing numerous different types of decks. I'm not bragging if anything it's disappointing. The ladder is no longer a challenge. Which I get it they did it so you will play conquest as well as play the ladder. I might be wrong here but in the beginning when you hit infinite for the first time it was a big deal. And even dropping 30 trying to climb back up was a struggle and if you made it it was still a big deal. Now you can do it in less than a day. I love this game and I like the variety of things that they're going to be bringing to it. My hope is they always continue to evolve and adapt the game as it needs it. As always love your videos, you work to be as honest as possible and im grateful to you fot that

You might be infinite now for all I know but going from 23-73 isn't exactly the greatest accomplishment. With a meta deck and knowing how to play it, that's the relatively easy part. It's the slow painful grind up from the 90's where everyone retreats quickly and you're mostly getting 2 cubes a match for a win. Also you're complaining about facing the same decks high up the ladder which ppl do to play it safe but you want to return it to being even more of a grind so people would be even less likely to experiment or switch it up a bit.

@@shenaria i understand where you may feel defensive. I don't use meta decks per se. I perfer move and I'm anti meta, no insult to meta players meant. Not even to Galactus he just is seen way too much to me. And I see what you call complaints, more as concerns. I'll 100% stand by what I said though but I completely respect your right to disagree. I wish you the best with you game playing
