Adventure 02 is my favorite season because of the international digidestined. As a kid it really made it feel like digidestined were not exclusive to Japan and anyone could be one.

What I like about the animes is the different genres they offer. Like isekai, try Adventure. Like something more sci-fi, Tamers would be up your alley. Like Super Sentai- check out Frontier. Like shonens-we got Data Squad for you. From monster of the weeks to horror there is bound to be something for everyone.

i wouldn't put adventure 2020 right after the og adventure-verse. you have a ton of fanservice for digimon fans that know also other seasons in the show that people would miss. just watch adv.2020 after xros wars or appmon

Thanks! I have crunchyroll so I'm gonna start with Ghost Game and then I'll check out the OG Digimon Adventure (via library or box set.)

If I only watched a few episodes as kid and want to get into digimon but dont want to watch old stuff(or maybe watch the old stuff later) is ghost game a good starting point?

I started with it and had a blast! You just gotta remember it's a episodic adventure so far, but the characters are amazing. After it I watched Frontier, then Adventure, and currently am watching 02!

I would say start with Digimon Adventure and Adventure 02. Then watch the 6-part movies Digimon Adventure Tri when takes place 4 or 5 years later when the OG Digi-Destined in high school....Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna that came out in 2020 set in the same continuity of the first two Digimon television anime series. The film serves as the series finale of the original Digimon Adventure story. Plus it a sequel titled Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning coming soon in 2023, which will also serve as the series finale of the Digimon Adventure 02 story! The others are just separate from that universe and I really don't feel like watching them except Digimon:Tamers which I heard a lot of great things about.

Honestly, while this order isn't bad by any means, I think it's different if you're introducing people personally. Like, I think catering towards a friend's tastes by picking the series they'd like would work well.

I'm only 49 secs into the video, but I'd recommend watching the series in the order it aired. Adventure 01 Adventure 02 Digimon The Movie based on what episodes it aired between in the US. Tamers Frontier Data Squad Fusion Parts 1 & 2 Xros Wars Appmon (I think that's what it's called. Never watched it) 6 Tri Films Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna Adventure 2020 Ghost Game I haven't looked at the release dates in a while so I might have gotten some in the wrong order.

There is no series called Adventure 01. Only Adventure (set in 1999), Adventure 02 (set in 2002), Adventure: (also known as the reboot, colon, or 2020 as that's when it was set), Tri (set in 2005), and Kizuna (set in 2010) and the upcoming 02 movie (set in 2011). There is no Adventure series set in 2001, unless you mean one of the CD Dramas or OWG which was set in 2000 for memory.

@@LostinTranslationmon My apologies. I was always under the impression people called it Adventure 01 since the sequel is Adventure 02. I've been calling it Adventure 01 for a while now. Also, wouldn't we just make it easier for ourselves and just say Adventure 2020 instead of more complicated? I'm not sure if you're into Kingdom Hearts, but there's a game called Kingdom Hearts 358 Days over 2 People, or 358/2 and people just simplify it and say 358 over 2.

Yeah people either call the reboot Adventure 2020 or Adventure Colon or just 'the reboot' typically. I call it Adventure Colon because that's what it's called and typically what it's called in Japanese.
