Hey guys! In this video, I'm going to be showing you the best Dino's to tame to make your life easier and more enjoyable on the Ragnarok map! This is a list I've put together for beginners of the game, and I am going to do this for every map, as the lists will change drastically depending on which map you play.

Great vid as usual, man. Have you ever though of making the quick taming guides for the harder or more unique creatures? Like the hyenadon, arthroplura, and (the one I’ve been looking for for a while) the Phoenix?

Thanks a lot man, my goal is to do every dino of ark! I've just got a bit carried away with other videos recently as I prefer making longer videos, but eventually Il have them all done!

@@kiddas2701 absolutely understandable, and I really do like you more longform stuff. I’m just looking for someone out there who tamed a Phoenix and made a video on it. I just can’t find any. It’s like no one cares about it, despite the Phoenix being one of the most unique and most useful dinos in the game.

@@grummdoesstuff2983 I had the Phoenix in one of my maps...can't recall which one...but it died due to the fact that it's food isn't normal food...it's definitely a tough one to catch and keep

@@scottdecker5455 I’ve managed to get a few Phoenix of my own, and their diet can be a bit annoying, but it’s not much of an issue. It’s pretty easy to get, on SE especially. And even more so since the Phoenix itself can harvest it AND it’s fireballs ignore armor, so rock elementals, a great source of sulfur, are super easy to take down.

Unfortunately yes you can get dismounted from thelacholios in ragnarok from the back of a wyvern I found that out on my own experience.

I think u did justice to the amazing map that is Ragnarok only thing id like to include would be the rhino tey are strong, fast, cute and easy to tame. Idk what I'd replace tho

How do you make it so you can see how much damage you do

If you play on your own server there's the setting "show damage text" when adjusting game settings, under advanced settings. If you're playing on an online server, its down to whether the creator or that server/cluster has enabled it or not

Once you get the wyvern...youll want more ...i literally have an entire army if about 25 wyverns made of all diff ones...fire...lightning...poison...and ice...theres nothing they cant do...i also have the rock elemental...its great for harvesting stone...still want a griffin though...

If someone ever decides to attack my base...which is embedded inside a mountain..1 way in and 1 way out...they'll regret it..cause on top of all my wyvern to get passed then there's the traps not to mention 2 gigas, 2 t Rex and more and that's just outside...if they get in then there's more...they'll get slaughtered if they don't cheat

I keep being told to tame Baryonyxes - but I love my Pholidosauridae far too much. Any aquatic neosuchian mesoeucrocodylian crocodylomorphs, especially Mahajangasuchidae. (For the Non-Nerds: in order that’s the Sarco and the Kapro.)

Ah yes. Literal fuckin horse, no unique abilities (that actually matter). Just get tranquilizer darts. A griffin, yet seems to forget that snow owls exist. You know, heat vision, can freeze self and creatures to heal, and can dive. Also freeze itself and dive which can freeze enemies for a longer duration than diving normally. ”not a lot wyverns can’t do“. Yep, yep. Now T U R N, or perhaps travel faster than 50kmh. Seems to talk a lot about pvp for rock golems when that couldn’t be more irrelevant. Perhaps talk about how they can do over 10,000 damage a hit and can kill bosses alone, (but the game being effortless obviously isn’t the point of it). Sea creature. No. No cheap gimmicky shit. An actual goat that gives the equivalent of cooked meat on preserving salt that stacks to 30 instead of 50, no. Mf acting like each of these creatures are the best at everything they can do. Emphasis on can. Doesn’t even speak about the Quetzalcoatl either
