Gave up on using pteranodons after my argys got decent stats because although they're slower, the argy stamina, melee and weight are so much better. Ptera stamina is so bad that they have to land so often, I just ended up getting into trouble all the time but argys allow long exploration trips where you can carry all the stuff you pick up and that slow journey home isn't as bad when you don't have to land constantly.

You should have replaced the Gallimimus with the procoptodon. The procoptodon is nearly as fast the gallimimus, and can easily be faster with a few movement speed levels. They also don't have the abysmal turning radius of the gallimimus, It can jump almost 4x as high (I tested it), and take next to no fall damage. They have two seats, way more health than the galli, double the base weight and can move while encumbered. They do more damage than the gallimimus, plus the crazy knockback from their kick. They're (in my opinion) the best land tame in the game!! And in PvP.. You would not believe how many people I've absolutely bodied because they underestimated the procoptodon. I've killed people on griffins, wyverns, and even a managarmr one time! I simply wear them out by running around and jumping erratically until they run out of stamina trying to catch me, they stand still to get stam, I use a Plant Z to take them off, and *BAM!* I kick them into oblivion! It's incredible! Another unexpected perk of the procoptodon is that their hunched back blocks the rider from damage, meaning you basically can't be killed off its back when you get frozen by a managarmr!! I don't know why people don't use them more!!! They're the most underrated creature in the game, worthy of a video all on their own!

Good vid bubba. You got CP the way I started. If you take the frog with an air tank and eat a rare flower to the cave close to the swamp(some people call it the CP cave) all the bugs will attack you and you can over fill with CP and Chitin.

i loved the video but it was a pain not being able to know where to find these dinos, how to tame them or even the cave locations you visited, overall a good video that helped me decide what to do in my journey.

I agree with everything except the Bary and the Galy I would replace them with the spino for its damage output and massive water buff I would eaven make the case that it's easier to tame because it won't stunn you and it eats prime/mutton. For the Galy I would replace that with the thyla for its new bleed effect and it's capability to run up walls

Ptera's speed is counter-productive because of the stamina, it's arguably faster to just use an argy

I'd recommend the Iguanodon to the Galliminus,

They fixed speed leveling in ps4 now so if you can toggle it you can get speedy fliers

Why did you not put procoptodon instead of gallimimus they are faster, can jump, can seat two people both of which can hold weapons and they don't take fall damage and they can help with breeding.

I'm playing on ps4 and just put my difficulty up to get some higher level dinosaur spawns and now no Dino's are respawning the only Dino's left are the ones I haven't killed or tamed edit random comment I know but thought I'd put it here in case someone knows how to fix it

So this guide was directed towards ark noob of which I am one and I can say as a guide it kind of sucked. Telling us to get X dinos with no mention of where on the map was pretty pointless.
