There's been a ton of debate surrounding this bike. Some think it's the death of dirt bikes as we know it; others think it's the greatest machine ever created. Today, I finally got to try the Stark Varg :)
I'll let the video speak for itself, but it does feel completely different than any gas dirt bike I've ridden. Between the handle-mounted rear brake, no engine gyro and fully adjustable power, it definitely threw me for a loop.
I got to test it on all of the tracks STF (Southern Training Facility) has to offer. We got some vet action, main sand track, and even some top secret supercross experience ;)

Brutal ending there Jay but glad you weren't hurt. The Stark engineers win on the power of the face plant switch. The brakes are set up like Aussie mountain bikes and some European bikes, rear on the left, front on the right. That thing has some serious grunt. Rest up Jay, ride another day, you earned it.

My Stark is always in 350F equivalent power. I leave it there. It crushes everything at my local track at that powered setting. Anything above that I get sloppy and it ends up crushing me. Plus in that setting, I get longer Motos. On the trails, I like the power and engine breaking equivalent to A modded 250 two-stroke setting. There is so much you can change on the settings to make it work for you. Once they add full AI control that reads how you ride and automatically changes settings to optimize for faster lap times it's going to be a cheat code. There is already a company from Italy working on an electronically controlled suspension that runs off AI that reads the track conditions and riders' style and makes adjustments to produce faster lap times. It can be implemented in the Stark Varge computer and other computer-controlled motorcycles that will have AI capability. It is becoming more common now with new electric bike releases. The future is getting crazy and it's already here. We are lucky to be alive in these times. Except for Joe Biden. Which I wish never existed. lol

Nothing can or will give you the same race experience that you will get from a 2 stroke.If you prefer 4 strokes,electric,or pedals so be it.

That bike looks legit I just wished the controls were exactly like a normal US dirtbike. Hopefully it's 𝙉𝙊𝙏 so steeply priced most folks can actually afford it unlike a few brands that come to mind. I hope someday someone makes a really nice quality sport electric atv.

I didn’t really try any whips because I didn’t have time to get comfortable with the launches 😂 Didn’t notice anything too different though. Just that if you pinned it to straighten things out like on a 450 or something, you do end up straight but it also brings your front wheel wayyyy up. Have to be careful not to rev too much

They just need to fix that impact noise, the thing sounds like it’s falling apart on each hit. Maybe all bikes sound like that and the engine noise covers it up.

Keep in mind, this is just the beginning of electric and it's already pretty amazing. As the technology progresses electric will dominate, both in motorcycles and automobiles. I know many people don't want to believe it or agree with this, but this is purely a technology thing and it's rapidly improving. ICE technology can't advance much more than it already has...🤷‍♂️

I've rolled around a backyard one on a borrowed bike but this was my first time on a legit, spec-ish SX track. Really need to get out to another one with some stiffer suspension :)

You need another day on it, or get one for yourself 😉. I absolutely love mine, get about an hour ride time at 42-50 HP on the track. 3 plus hours on trails mostly 30hp. Bike is crazy fast

I’m sure it’s fun but the lack of shifting , clutch work and any and all foot work if ya get hand brake. I feel like in my opinion it takes a lot of skill away to actually be fast . That being said they should be in a separate class in a racing setting .

Buuuut as you saw..... It takes a whole new skill set to be smooth and fast without mechanical input.... Seen plenty of quality gas brappers look like amateur hour when they throw a leg over Batt power rut rider. Both are equally fun. But the days of dead dinosaur powered engines is over. Just like the horse and buggy once was. Adapt and evolve as Darwin says.

Electric stuff is cool. There just needs to be paid more attention to the sound. There's no reason why there can't be acoustic elements to the motor that has no other purpose than to emit a sound by disrupting air. RC car sounds just aren't cool. There are ways to turn rotation into sound.
