You can enable community mode which gives you an events tab, a moderator only text channel (which gives you all the discord updates) and a rules text channel

This is proving VERY HELPFUL!!! Thank you. A couple of things: 1.) I'm confused about what creating the "role" with a thumbs up to acknowledge "Bot" status us for. I've seen roles on servers, but don't understand this demonstration or its usecase (Please be so kind as to clarify). 2.) Music is a completely premium feature (Maybe it wasn't before, but it's just a quick "Head's up" for you and your viewers, as i'm sure that you are far too busy with life to know which features transition/change access tiers within weeks of releasing a video. Again, thank you for this video.

Sekrit, you don't HAVE to add the music. I didn't add the music because it was premium... and my server worked out perfectly! So, the only difference with adding music is that as you could've guessed, listening to music! So, he's not forcing us to do this, he's just telling us what he did! Hope this helped you :)

i have looked at every video on KZfaq about this topic, creating a discord server and dont know why but the way they all explained it sounded hard to do for some reason and just now i saw this video and its like everything he was saying was very easy to follow along with him and i managed to set one up and have had alil success with it being online and working perfectly. You can't drag and drop on mobile, you have to go to actual server settings and set it up that way. Everything else was super helpful

Please be aware: I got the mee6 bot mentioned in the video specifically for the ability to assign a role once rules were accepted... that is also premium now. along with anything related to mee6 handling roles, including custom commands to add or remove a role.

Wicked video!!! i was able to set up a general txt channel for new members make a private voice channel for peeps ive known for a long time long story short i was able to include everyone and the gen txt is to observe potential new members as i have made certain things invite only had drama with trolls and randoms now with your amazing full detailed video i should be able to avoid problems rather than solve them.
