Our most requested video is finally here! Click to see the progress of our Mad Max!
The best Isuzu Dmax has been under the cross beam of the hoist, as we assembled and fitted the first GCI Traytec 2021 model Dmax tray. This video documents the assembly process as well as a walk-around of the current state of the build.
The next stages from here is to finalise the blindspot radar relocation testing, building the canopy and getting the rest of the upgrades to EC Offroad! There is lots of work yet to come, but the adventures begin after this build is finished.

Hey guys mint build. So if I was to go for this set up is possible to not have some of the sensors built into tray, tbo I would have many turned off anyways

Very nice, I still feel trays on dual cabs should not exceed 1600 in length.

Any issue adding a bigger fuel tank like the brown david one with the tray on? Looking forward to seeing the build continuing 👊💯

Hey mate, great question and thank you for the compliments! If the additional tank is situated below the chassis then there will not be any compatibility issues with our trays and canopies. If they do then we must evaluate it case by case.

Whats the weights of the dmax before and after the tray with full tanks

Hey mate, great question. This Dmax tray weighs approx 290kg including the 36L water tank filled.

Thats not correct for calibrating blind spot relocation He calibrated the sensors for in car sat nav not for rear blind spot short range radar sensors. Maybe the dealer can otherwise there is no way to “calibrate” the sensor. Just been through it all with my new dmax. Don’t be fooled this is not correct. They just need to be fitted to the original location for overlap angles etc.

I'm getting a new Dmax in July, wondering how you've resolved the sonar? Are they relocatable at all? Cheers
