I like to take a second QB late if I like him ,not always like a few years back I got Mahomes in 2018 with last pick and last year I took Stroud in the 12th , or a late round rookie WR.

I’m sorry but I’m not doing anchor running back with CMC he had 2,000 yards last year so law of averages says he’s looking at about 1,000 yards and less tds to go with that and your basically screwed at rb and also CMCs crazy usuage is due to catch up to him at some point and I believe this year he’s absolutely due for a decline!

He probably is due for a come down to earth year but that’s based on injuries that have to happen. 1,000 yards on production alone is wrong.

Man people are crazy cmc is the best fantasy football player of all time and Kyle shannahan offense is built around him cmc took off games in Carolina because they could not win but with san fran he wants to be in the game because they can win and he wants a MVP if you don't pick CMC you are doing yourself a disservice

Isn’t it a little different. If you take one of the top 3 RB, they are going to be good. They don’t need to be a hero, just do their job. I think hero means you take one in the late 2nd round who you hope will step up and perform better than their draft position, hence becoming a hero.

@@stevebusam2911 hero RB has always meant taking a RB in rounds 1-2, hammering WR afterwards, taking your RB2 in rounds 7 and beyond.

For myself every year that I’ve played FF beyond year 1(Daunte Culpeppers first full season in 2000) I’ve always gone with either ELITE RB or WR first 2 rounds then the opposite rounds 3 & 4(If I picked WR round 1 & 2 then I’d pick RB’s 3 & 4 or vice versa. I’d follow that up with a QB/TE rounds 5 & 6 all depending on where my draft slot was.

So I tried out this strategy in one of my leagues just now and all I can say was…My team isn’t bad. I drafted the best available with the 8th spot(10 team league). Yes I doubled up on QB’s, Def, and K but in my defence I got those late and they’re ALWAYS NEEDED plus I couldn’t pass up the second QB that I got. My roster is as follows 8th pick Brown Evans Metcalf Jacobs Kittle Dak Harris Pickens Taj Spears Ravens Goedert Purdy Eagles Moody Bass That’s also the way I drafted them. The only pick that I’m not a fan of is Spears. Sure he’s slated to get almost 1,000yrds and 6TDs but I think there’s a better option tbh.

Chris my redraft league doesn’t require a TE it’s a 2 WR and a RB/WR/TE flex. In that case would you take another WR, RB or elite QB Rd 4-5?

Not a terrible spot but u absolutely have to be strategic. Go for exactly who u want unless there's an absolute better option. Don't play the waiting game!
