Do you have any recommendations for congested skin? Like I’ve been experiencing whiteheads all over the outer part of my face (forehead to jawline) and even after facial treatments, the whiteheads come back after two weeks or so, so I guess it’s my skincare? I’ve tried many products recommended so I’m quite lost as to which product is causing me these whiteheads

You lost me at the neutrogena cleanser. That cleanser really dried out my skin. I have an incredibly oily skin but that cleanser dried my skin out so much I could feel the tightness of my skin immediately after use. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It is way too strong in my opinion.

i recommend you guys NOT use the grapefruit cleanser, do a patch test first, that stuff broke out and irritated the hell out of my skin. edit: also i changed up my cleanser recently which i shouldn’t have done, and started using the Clean and Clear Lemon Zesty Cleanser. my skin started doing pretty good for the first few days, but then my skin started breaking out and getting super dry. i’ve been drinking plenty of water and my diet is the exact same, so i know it doesn’t have to do with me. if you have extremely dry skin and want no dry patches i suggest the Nutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser, Ponds Dry Skin Cream in the blue cap tub, and Witch Hazel after all that! such life savers!!!

I love products ❤️ from the drugstore since I am teenager and do not have a lot of money to spend on my skincare routine. I will consider all your recommendations and I also loved how you kept it simple, affordable and helpful in the video. I would also like to recommend 😎 some products I use which are easily accessible for everyone everywhere. I love a cleanser from La Roche-Posay called EFFACLAR, it targets oily and acne prone skin ( I have been using it for 3 years now and it works wonderfully ) and has a slightly lower ph to give your skin a more suitable ph level when you rinse it off. Another great cleanser that contains salicylic acid is the new one from Garnier, it is infused with Green Tea. Unluckily, it is a little bit scented, so it may irritate a little those who have very sensitive skin, however, my skin hasn’t reacted to it yet, and I have been using it for two months now, with my other gel cleanser (the one i named before) as a double cleanse. As toners go, I love one from Vittesse, it is their Three-Mineral Complex, it is great, it leaves my skin supple and ready to receive a good moistruizer. I change my moisturizer according to my day or night routine. I don’t like thick moisturizers. I love my EFFACLAR MAT, from La Roche-Posay and also love one from Avéne (but this one is named like a light serum). Thank you so much for your recommendations, I am sure I’ll give them a shot when I have the chance 🥰

The new sunscreen Coppertone Pure&Simple +100% natural botanicals spf50 80min water resistant 24.08% zinc oxide is much more sheer than all the Neutrogena mineral sunscreens. It still leaves a little white cast which is easily masked with a tinted sunscreen. It even has green tea in it. 6oz $9.

How moisturizing would you say the copper tone sunscreen is?
@greentree_
@greentree_ 5 жыл бұрын
@@tiahnagrace6325 it is moisturizing enough for my dry skin. A tip, the way I mask the cast (I'm brown) I apply a good non cakey tinted sunscreen - the best so far is cotz flawless complexion spf50 with 20% zinc oxide - and finish with a layer of coppertone. It tottally masks the cast and I looooove it. Double SPF 50 application plus iron oxides from the cotz = extra protection and skin looking amazing.

I really like Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost cleanser! It feels and works like Glossier’s jelly cleanser. I think they’re at a similar price point, but one you have to buy online and the other is sold at drugstores. They’re both great for all skin types! I started using both of them when I had severely dry skin, and I still use them now that I have combination/oily skin, caused by testosterone. The Glossier cleanser is sold in a travel size and a bigger bottle, but the travel/mini one lasts a good while. When it starts getting low, I add a bit of water to it and gently shake it up. Somehow it doesn’t disturb the product’s original texture! It’s actually really cool, because it means you can stretch it to last even longer

As a professional aesthetician in Toronto for over a decade, I agree with alot of the feedback she gave on some afordable products. But the reason why serums are so important is because they have a lower molecular level, with high concentration of peptides and antioxidants which help to stimulate collagen as well elastin in the skin. Moitrurizers and water based products sit just on the top layer of the skin. Fact: after the age of 25 we stop producing collagen and every year we lose 1% of the collagen in our skin 😉

I just want you to know that I have been watching your videos for about a week now and realizing how little I knew. I will be 30 in March and all my life people have told me did I look considerably younger. Just this year I feel like my age is catching up to me just a little bit. I've been taking notes on your . I have begun using a few products/ ingredients that you recommended. My face feels so good! I never knew how bad my face felt until comparing it to now! My skin feels clean, light, not tight. Thank you so much maybe you saved me. Maybe it's a little too late.

Just a note, Hawaii isn't banning certain sunscreen ingredients because they're unsafe for humans. The ban is because there has been a LITTLE (underscore little) research that these ingredients maybe be harmful to coral reefs. The research is relatively recent and more research needs to be done to confirm the results. Please be more careful with your words when talking about a lifesaving product like sunscreen.

I really like it too! It's literally the only cleanser that doesn't dry my skin out. I think it's because it doesn't foam. I've noticed usually foaming means it's drying. If you have dry skin I would recommend to use other CeraVe's products too. I love the moisturizing cream and the facial moisturizer with spf25. I use both on my face. I'm a cosmetology student in Finland so I'm really passionate about this stuff😂

94dreaming same! Foam cleansers I have found are too drying, gel and cream ones are the way to go! I found their AM moisturizing lotion to leave too much of a white cast on my face but I live in Arizona (the sunniest state in the USA) so I’m fairly tan. But I love their moisturizing cream!

R Rooster the only way it would be even slightly accurate is if she meant to say that Differin (which is a brand, the active is adapalene) is the OTC form of the prescription retinoid adapalene. Accutane is a brand name for isotretinoin and it has a completely different molecular structure to adapalene. It’s most similar to tretinoin, structurally they’re isomers. So I would maybe give her a pass if she said tretinoin was the topical form of isotretinoin aka Accutane.

R Rooster I’m not the original commenter. But I don’t think the average person would know what she meant. And because she emphasizes that she’s an expert and critiques routines and designs routines for people she knows, she’s going to be held to a higher standard I think. At least if people comment on it she’ll realize she misspoke and can clarify or perhaps she didn’t know and this is an opportunity to look into something further.

Love Cerave cleansers and face lotion. I use the micellar water to help remove my eye makeup. It seems to break it down better than regular eye makeup remover and is not as oily so it doesn’t leave residue in my eyes. I have also added Vitamin C serum and Retinol serum from your advice and it’s helped so much. TY!

Try Avène, I swear you will get mindblown. I have not had a excema-breakout since I started on them 9 years ago. Edit: (Sorry I spelled eczema totally wrong before)
