voja is the big gun that elf dorks can supply, its the win con that elves have been looking for outside of craterhoof overrun effects, previously you had to have mana dorks and a midgame plan, now you can run oops all mana dorks in colors that support haste and control options, rebuilding is easier than a fresh start, its kill on sight for sure.

I'm watching this video a month late. I have a really good green / black Lathril Elf deck that has done well against other decks. I just bought 3 Rashmi cards a few days ago. Wow, I am surprised Veggie gave this Elf deck a 7. I knew Nerd Girl would rate this deck fairly high. Nerd Girl is right, the lands are very strong in this deck. Thank you Nerd Girl and Veggie Wagon for this video.

Galadriel really benefits from being able to untap on each other players turn along with casting at flash speed. You can flood the board in a turn rotation and continue to get all 3 benefits.

If Voja becomes super oppressive the can’t be countered cards will see rise in response. The Shadows card is a great answer as is.

My fav is the golgari pairing of Miara and Numa. Elf aristicrats. 🤘 I dont run Marwen in any of my decks personally.

Momir vig. That paired with a beast whisperer pretty much get what you want lol. It's bull crap so I also use Rashmi as a commander when I'm playing nice.

Ward 3 on Voja *is* a bad design move but, yeah, it's nowhere near banworthy. Really sucks to face it in Brawl though since that's 1v1.

Honestly if it wasn't in elves Voja wouldn't be an issue. Elves just generate a LOT of mana making Voja come out regularly on turn 4 and attacking on turn 5 gettin 2+ counters with vigilance and trample. It's not something I will refuse to play against but the nature of the commander makes it a very strong deck no matter how you build it. Voja is also in red which can easily gain haste as well which is also something to consider.

voja gives you overun and card draw on a stick, that seems too good honestly. BUT i have a feeling in actual play sometimes ur wolves and elves dont line up correctly and u dont get the best of both worlds haha

In my opinion, Galadriel is weakest in an Elf build. Really strong in creature token and/or blink builds.

I love my Voja deck. But I also describe it as Elves and Wolves instead of an "Elf Deck". Also no one wants to spend 4 mana to Path to Exile or Swords a commander that will inevitably come back next turn. Your opponents are much more likely to board wipe or attempt to counter Voja before it comes out.

Citing NerdGirl's honorable mention and extrapolating that the opposite must be equally valid, Voja qualifies. And is a good boy. A good, stealthy, murdering, boy.
