I would have liked a Luke in pain alternate head sculpt. With the new Emperor on this throne during Empire anniversary and this new Vader for Jedi anniversary we could have played out the whole scene in display. “Father, pleeease!” Lucasfilm probably frowned on it. This is a great figure. I also think Endor Luke needs the helmet to complete that look. I think helmet less was a byproduct.

As good as this figure is, I do not get as excited as I used to for Star Wars Figures. I don't get the same joy out of them as I used to. I already have very good representation for each character and a few vehicles in the 6" scale. Some still on MoC on my wall. So, I do not see myself picking any more up. Thank you, Disney, for making me a more responsible consumer.

Star Wars at least made more money than transformers but Pokémon for some reason beats both Star Wars and transformers in making more money. Also a message to people to that thinks Star Wars is bad: would you prefer Pokémon movies over Star Wars movies?

I love how your review segues into rant territory. I agree this is a nice figure but interest in Star Wars is waning. That’s pretty much all toys in general. I wouldn’t be surprised if people are cashing out and moving to other hobbies.

maybe for Star Wars since there are no movies out, but have you seen the local and international Joe communities ? everyone's gobbling up every single thing hasbro releases.... oh and don't even get me started on the transformers community... the last 3 haslab products for transformers have been backed faster than any other haslab item from other lines.... agree to disagree man... 2024 is going to be big for action figures and toys....

If I got into GI Joe, I would limit it from the 1982 up to 1985 characters. That was peak GI Joe. Whenever they switched out the cards from the explosion to the digital camo, it went downhill with all the sci fi wackiness.

@@chefatron I am sure the ensuing years has its fans. I will give it to 86, with Beachead and General Hawk. Those could easily slot into the earlier waves. I am just not too keen on the so called replacement Joes that came down the line: Lifeline for Doc, Dial Tone for Breaker, Sci Fi for Zap, Iceberg for Snow Job…I think you get the drift.
